What you will love about this neighborhood
My home is in an upmarket suburb very close to the countryside and Cork Harbour. It overlooks to a large green park. Nearby access to the motorway means you can be in West Cork in a little over an hour and in Killarney in an hour and a half. There are two large shopping centers nearby. Restaurants, pubs , wine bars and a cinema are similarly close.Excellent Farmers Market on Friday and Saturday in less than five minutes drive. A bus connects you to the city. The bus is 5 minutes away. You can drive to Cork city in 10 minutes or use a very convenient Park and Ride and forget about parking in the city.Cork has many buildings of interest, museums, galleries,a famous indoor food market, great restaurants and a vibrant cultural life. For golf enthusiasts a large number of quality courses are nearby and many more within a hour's drive. For walkers there are walks of all grades in the locality. Fishing, boating and culinary delights await you in the historic and famous town of Kinsale which is approximately thirty minutes from my home. This is the starting point of the world's newest coastal touring route, The Wild Atlantic Way with its spectacular scenery stretching 2,500 km- an awesome adventure you can experience! Cork airport has direct connections to several European cities. Dublin airport has more of course. If a car exchange is arranged it may be possible to have the car at Dublin airport and you can drive to Cork in 2.30 hours..
