What you will love about this home

Our home is in a traditional small village in South Leicestershire, England. Being in the Midlands we are perfectly situated for exploring much of the UK. In approximately one hour you can visit; London, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Sherwood Forest and the historic towns of Warwick and Royal Lemmington Spa. Travel a little further and within two hours you can be in York, Bath, Manchester and The Cotswold’s. The village is small, with a great local traditional pub serving lovely food. The village green at the bottom of our road, plays hosts to weekly community football matches and is a great place for kids to play with a small children's play area. As well as our wonderful village pub, there are lots of nice pubs and restaurants in the surrounding villages, and lots of lovley countryside walks. The local Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre is beautiful and only 5 miles away. The Hotel has two restaurants and the theatre has a full list of events throughout the year with top class musical’s in the summer that truly are of West End quality, for a fraction of the price (£30 per ticket approx.). The village is situated close to two small market towns where there are Supermarkets and plenty of small local shops. Just 20 minutes away is the cultural City of Leicester. There are two golf courses nearby and plenty of willing friends who love a game. The house itself is a 5 bedroomed detached house, with large double garage and a safe and secure back garden. We are in the process of updating the house, and all bedrooms have recently been completed, a new bathroom, and soon to be a new living room. We have a lovely large kitchen dinner and conservatory, and a fully stocked playroom with its own TV and playstation. Bedroom five is on the ground floor, perfect if any one has mobility issues. It has a large sofa bed which can sleep one or two people (at a push). There is also a single sofa bed in the playroom and there is a shower room on the ground. Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom with a super king size bed, bedroom two, three and four all have single beds and belong to our three children (two boys and 1 girl). The girls room has a low level bed perfect for small children. We have a travel cot which can be used for babies. We also have a high chair. The double garage plays host to a range of bikes adult and children's bikes, a table tennis table, and a ton of toys. We are a family of five, mum, dad, twin 9 year old boys and a 2 year old girl. The boys attend the local primary school and my husband is the Head Professional at the local golf club (we can arrange games with one of the other pros if you wish, or children can join the Saturday morning children’s classes). I run my own branding and marketing agency based in the city of Leicester. For sporting fans, Leicester Tigers Rugby Team is one of the countries top Rugby teams - and we are usually able to sort free tickets to national and international matches. For golf enthusiasts we can also organize games of golf at many of the local clubs, as well as some of the more well-known clubs such as Woburn (Ladies British Open, Seniors Tour Events and British Masters) and The Belfry (Ryder Cup course), both of which are less than 1 hours drive away. For those happy to drive a little further, we can organize games at the world famous courses of Birkdale, Lytham St Anns, and Royal Liverpool.
