What you will love about this home

Our spacious loft is in the heart of Soho on Greene Street/Prince Street. It is prime real estate in NYC (hotels around the corner will cost you $800 plus the night for a small room). Key locked elevator opens directly into a classic and spacious soho artist loft with very high ceilings and polished wood floor. The loft has been renovated for family living. We created two separate areas divided by a beautiful design sliding door featured on architectural books. There are two large living room areas and each area has its own large dining table, sofa, Plasma TV etcetera. All beds have new mattresses which are very comfortable. The master bedroom has a King Size Bed. The second bedroom is small but has a bunk bed that sleeps 3 and an additional sofa bed. The third bedroom is small and cozy and has a single bed. The loft has a fully renovated italian kitchen. Central heating and AC. Our street is considered one of the most beautiful streets in the city with cobblestone and some of the most exemplary cast-iron architecture. Our building is rich with NY history going from being a hat manufacturing factory to a printing shop for Edgar Allan Poe and then becoming the home for artists. It is perfect for adults exploring the city but it is also set up for children with plenty of toys, games, movies and children books and a large private playground five minutes away and a public playground with a fun children's pool also five minutes away. Washington Square is a five minute walk and you are in the midst of the best shopping, restaurants and cafes NY can offer. You can walk to Greenwich Village, Nolita and Tribeca. This is a very central location. Subways are around the corner and take you everywhere in the city. No stairs and ideal for people with disabilities since the elevator opens into the loft.

What you will love about this neighborhood

This is a wonderful neighborhood. Our street has been featured in many movies. The best shopping, restaurants, cafes are just around the corner. Some of the stores on our street include Ralph Lauren, Paul Smith, Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs etcetera. Art galleries are around the corner and our street is on the so called famous "design route" for furniture. This said, our block is quiet because the stores in our block are mostly high luxury with not as many people and circulation as the bustling Broadway (two blocks away). Some of the best NY restaurants are within walking distance- Balthazar, Babbo, Lupa, Blue Ribbon etcetera. You will also find some of the best bookstores and independent movie theaters within walking distance (Angelika Theater - one of New Yorks most important independent movie theater is across the street on Houston). We have had many exchanges and the one thing that everyone has told us is that they wished they could live here for the rest of the year. It is a perfect spot to see everything and yet retreat to a peaceful and calm place after a day in New York city.
