What you will love about this home
As this is our summer home we do not have to do simultaneous exchanges. This beautiful, peaceful cottage is filled with light from the top of the cathedral ceilings to the floor. Located on an incline at the edge of the ocean, the water views are endless, you are steps to the beach and the sunsets are amazing. The open concept living room and kitchen lead to a shady screened in porch overlooking the ocean. The loft bedroom upstairs includes a queen size bed, a sitting area and windows on each side with ocean and country views. The bathroom is downstairs in the hall, between two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a queen, both with comfy quilts and lots of light. A perfect home away from home.
This private cottage is situated on 4 acres, and surrounded by a large grassy lawn; great for volleyball, croquet, bocce ball and horseshoes. The closest neighbour is 200 m away. The beach in front of the cottage is small and sandy and the water is warm & calm, protected by a beautiful spit of sand which sits in the ocean in front of the cottage. The waterfowl come to visit when the tide is out; large cranes, sandpipers and more. A very large sandy beach is a short stroll away, seen from the cottage and leads out to a lovely walk around the sand spit. When the tide is out you can walk for miles, exploring the many tide pools as you wander. Dig clams & enjoy them at your campfire on the beach; lawn chairs and driftwood benches provided. Spend the weekends at the farmers market or the many festivals and ceilidhs nearby. Take a 5 min. drive and sip some wine at Jost Winery or take a stroll on Blue Sea Beach. Memories made, lasting forever.
Waterfront: wooden steps with handrail to the beach.
This lovely cottage comes well equipped with a washer & dryer, propane BBQ, high speed internet, fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, grill, blender, bath, kitchen & beach towels, beach chairs, all bedding, TV, DVD & VHS player and movies, books, puzzles and indoor & outdoor games. Six guests fit comfortably, but we do provide 1 airbed for an additional small child.
