What you will love about this home
My home is in a lovely quiet and friendly neighborhood near the city of Denver border in the town of Littleton. The area is great for evening walks around a private lake. The public bus stop is several blocks away and the light rail station is about 1 mile away. There is a public pool and tennis courts 3 blocks from my home. Hiking in the foothills is nearby. My home has ample space for a family. There is a covered patio with gas grill and a large backyard.
The master bedroom is large with an newly remodeled bathroom. There are three smaller bedrooms that share a bathroom. My home has a family room next to the kitchen with satellite tv. Near the kitchen is the computer room/study.
Littleton has a lovely town center and is getting a reputation for excellent restaurants. The high mountains towns of Vail,Breckenridge,Winter Park are less than a1 1/2 hr drive. Aspen is a beautiful 4 hr. drive through the amazing Glenwood Canyon and Hot Springs. There are many 14,000 foot peaks within an 1 1/2 hr drive with hiking trails. One of the prettiest National Parks, Rocky Mountain Park is within 1 1/2 hr. drive. Here you can see wildlife of elk, marmots, moose, and mountain goats. You can drive to the top of Mt. Evans which is above 14,000 feet. Everyone knows what great skiing we have, but it a special secret that our spring, summer, and fall are lovely as well.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Littleton is a quiet area just south of Denver. It has a historic town center with great family friendly restaurants. My neighborhood is especially pleasant for evening walks or bike rides. There is a bike path nearby that accesses many the many bike paths around the city. I have a motor scooter available, a bicycle and camping eqipment for your use. As well as my Subaru . The highway leading to the Mountains is a short distance from my home, giving you easy access to the beautiful Colorado high county. There is easy acccess to public swiiming pools, a new grocery store nearby, a short distance to the S. Platte river and a terriffic walking and bike path. It is a short driving distance to Red Rocks Park and outdoor amphitheater with summer concerts and outdoor movies on the rocks. In the area, there are many summer fairs, art shows, and a wealth of outdoor activities in the Mile High City where the sun shines 300 days a year.
