Small haven in a paradise Island. This is the perfect place to disconnect from the world. Listen to the animals, the squirrels, the birds and sometimes the monkeys. There is a feeling of calm, where you can chill, practice yoga , just hang out or go for walks.
It is 1 km from the nearest beach and just 10 mins in a tuk or scooter to the Hikkaduwa restaurants and beaches,
Most people like the fact that it is not on the beach. There is something special about being away from the noise. Living in the nature. Colour and brightness. Outdoor showers under the coconut trees. My little paradise.
Lo que te va a encantar del barrio
Small shops within walking distance, where you can buy freshly baked bread. Walk down to the main Galle road and catch a bus to Galle in one direction or Hikkaduwa in the other. Visit the local temple at Kumara Kanda. Go on walks and see buffalos in rice paddies. There are many other things to do. All of it is eye candy.

The house keepers who live next door are wonderful cooks and will come and make Sri Lankan food for a small fee.
Kumara can take you to places in his tuk tuk, or even in a van, if you want to go further, like whale watching or to Yala or Udawalawa National Parks. Ask!
You will have to pay for the electricity, water and internet for the duration of your stay. Kumara will show you the bills detailing
the amount corresponding to the time spent in the house.
