Ground floor apartment at our house in Soca valley Our apartment is located on the ground floor of our house. The house is a residential house with a large back garden, located almost in the centre of Kobarid. Kobarid is a small town in Soča valley. It is calm, friendly and loving, we have a big garden that blossoms beautifully in spring and summer, our cat is friendly (but does not like to be petted much). It is close to the town centre, the nature around Kobarid is stunning and there are loads of things to do. Peacful place in the center of the town, five minutes of walk to reach Soca river, or to reach the forest. During the summer we can show you secret places of beautiful Soca and Nadiza river. 5 beds; there is a couch that turns into a bed (for 2 people), an extra bed in a separate room, and also a gallery, kind of, where at least 2 people can stay as well, probably children as the ceiling is lower there. There is also a bathroom and a kitchen.

Lo que te va a encantar del barrio

It is quite close to the town centre, the nature around Kobarid is stunning and there are loads of things to do. Peacful place in the center of the town, five minutes of walk to reach Soca river, or to reach to the forest. During the summer we can show you secret points of beautiful Soca and Nadiza river. Our house is located practically in the centre of Kobarid. Next to our house is a playground for children. The closest market is just a short walk away, so is the town centre - just a minute or two. In the town centre is a tourist office, where you can get all the information about the town and its surroundings. Of course we are here if you need any information, all of our family. We can give you ideas for a fun trip or a short walk to a place you might not hear about at the tourist office. Most na Soči is half an hour away by car. There is an interesting way of getting to Gorenjska (Bohinj and Bled) - a train that you travel on with your car; you just drive on the train with your car and enjoy the drive through your car's windows. This way you avoid the bendy road with lots of turns. In the summer, you can swim in the warm Nadiža river, which is much warmer than the always-cold Soča. Trekking and hiking is very popular here, from the trails in the mountains to the ones that follow our rivers. The best time to hike/trek is probably spring, autumn or early summer. In winter, there are lots of skiing options; the one closest to our home is Kanin, more than 2000m a.s.l. in Bovec, half an hour away by car. Kanin is also connected to the ski-centre Sella Nevea in Italy, so you can ski at two sides of the mountain in one day. We also often go to ski-centres in Italy or Austria: Terviso (I), Nasfeld, Anroldstein (A), or we go to the Slovene ski-centre in Cerkno or in Kranjska Gora. Above Kobarid is a St. Anton church, from where you can see the Soča valley, it's only 10min walk from our house. You can also visit the World War I museum in Kobarid. In a nearby local market Planika you can try and buy local diary products, they also have a museum of local diary products making history.
