My home is located in Sandnes town, 3 km from Sandnes centre and 20 km to Stavanger oil city. It is 15 km (20 min car driving) from Stavanger airport and 20 km to Stavanger city (be connected by buses and trains). Totally quiet, beautiful view overlooking the Gandsfjord and the mountain. The home has double parking garage, near to supermarkets, able daily walking along Gandsfjord (Gandsfjorden) with sea air. Fishing opportunity. The Sola beach is 15 km away. it's cold to swim but it's worth a walk along. Easy to the Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) and to Kjerag in the Lysefjord and they are home to the world-famous landscapes. There are many musiums, Old city - area (Gamle Stavanger) is a historic area of the city of Stavanger, The area consists largely of wooden buildings which were built in the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. Kongeparken (The King's park) is an amusement park for children in the village Ålgård, near Sandnes (12 km). Kongeparken is the biggest amusement park in the southwest of Norway and one of Rogaland's biggest tourist attractions. There are 2 golf courses nearby, about 10 km for 10 minutes drive. In short, it's a good place for relaxing and enjoying your holidays. That is really a difference.
