Here you will be close to Copenhagen, but still in green areas and all of Northern Sealand including lovely beaches close to you. You will stay in a nice large villa from 1974 in two plans and an additional cellar. A lot of place for a large family with all modern equipment.
First floor has the master bathroom and two bedrooms (150 and 180 cm beds). The larger bedroom also has a small office corner, a sofa corner and a balcony facing west with a hammock, perfect for the sonny evenings in the danish summer, where the sunset is around 20-21 in the evening.
Ground floor has the living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower, two bedrooms (both 145 cm beds) and an office room (with a mattress one person could sleep here). Here you will also find a sofa terrace facing east/south, a sun terrace facing south and a terrace with open outdoor kitchen and fireplace facing west.
In the cellar you will find one bedroom (145 cm bed), washing room, older bathroom and sauna.
If you are lucky the squirrel will visit you during the day and the local owl during twilight.
It will be possible to borrow 3 bicycles and if weather permits we can set up our mobile swimmingpool (3½ meter in diameter and 70 cm deep)

We have a nice neighborhood. The house is placed in a suburb to Copenhagen with 20.000 inhabitants. 1 km from Birkeroed city center and train station. ½ hour to center of Copenhagen by car and train.
You can go to Copenhagen and see the lille mermaid and read the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen, visit Tivoli, the castle of the queen, sail at the canels in the center, visit all the shops and museums. in the center of Copenhagen you can rent bikes and visit the city.
We are placed 5 minutes walk from Sjaelsoe, where you will find some wonderful tracks. It will take 2 hours+ to walk all the way around the lake. You will also find a small lake-beach and a cozy restaurant. A larger and more nice sea-beach 15 minutes away by car and the large nice beaches of Norther Sealand 30-40 minutes away by car. You can sail in canoe with the family at the beautiful lakes nearby 20 minutes by car or with the little ferry at the lakes in Lyngby or Hilleroed.
Bus to train station and center of Birkerød 200 meters from the house
From here you will have a perfect starting point to visit Copenhagen, the dome and Viking Ship museum in Roskilde, Kronborg - the castle of Hamlet (Shakespeare) in Helsingør, the nice castle in Hilleroed and the royal castle in Fredensborg.

This is the place to stay if you are a large family loving to stay in quiet areas with lot of indoor and outdoor space. Combined with the many sights of Copenhagen and Northern Zealand. And lovely beaches not far away
From Helsingør it takes 20 minute with the ferry to go to Sweden with additional number of interesting sights.
