Lo que te va a encantar en esta casa

Sandnes is the gateway to the beautiful North Sea beaches, the Pulpit Rock and fabulous mountains and fjords. The area is great for hiking, and also for bicycle trips. We can provide up to five bikes. Our house is situated at the end of a dead end street, so there's no traffic and almost no noise. The apartment is part of the basement, where you will find one bedrooms, a bathroom, a small kitchen and a living room. The entrance to the apartment will be at the back side of the house, so it will not interfere with the privacy. An extra bedroom and access to the garden could be included upon request.

Lo que te va a encantar del barrio

The house is situated on a hill, and from the bedroom you will have a great view of "downtown" Sandnes and surroundings. Most shops, restaurants, cinema etc. available by foot (5 - 15 minutes). There are two public football fields in a short walking distance from the house. We're close to the nature, allowing for both nice walks and bicycle rides from our house. There is an outdoor "fitness room" (306 steps) in the wood five minutes by foot from our house :-) Stavanger is 15 kms to the north, 15 mins by train/car. Stavanger intl airport 15 mins by car to the west, where you will also find the fantastic beaches (70 km stretching south). 10 km to the south there is a popular amusement park (Kongeparken) where the kids will have a great time. Five-ten minutes drive from our house, we have up to ten smaller and bigger peaks for hiking, for example during late evenings in the summertime when the daylight will last until eleven. If you like biking, there are a lot of excellent roads with little traffic and great views nearby. Sigurd has explored most of them, and is happy to give advice. If you're not afraid of heights, you must visit the world famous "Pulpit Rock" and the less known (but even more breathtaking) Kjerag. You can see photos in our presentation. You can access the Pulpit Rock by ferry, or try the worlds longest and deepest underwater tunnel (14 km) that opened in 2020. We have lovely neighbours and family/friends in the area.
