Our home overlooks the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and is located in the scenic village of Chelem (near Progreso, in the State of Yucatan, Mexico). The house is newly remodeled and offers many amenities: private pool, beautiful interior, AC in every room, and much more. The beautiful deck is perfect for coffee or an evening drink...all the time relaxing to the sight and sound of the ocean just a few feet away. Please Note: We rent our home out thru AirBNB throughout some of the year. The availability seen on our HomeExchange calendar MAY vary. Please check with us for current available dates! :)

Lo que te va a encantar del barrio

Chelem is a wonderful fishing village that offers good restaurants and shopping. The city of Progreso is nearby- with this comes much more dining and shopping, along with cultural events. There's also cenotes, fishing, Mayan ruins, and other activities for vacationers....all within easy access! Probably the best part of this house though is the gorgeous ocean views you'll see...every morning, every evening. You can relax to the sounds of the surf and watch the ocean waves sweeping in, just a few feet from you. If you're an ocean lover, this is one of the best locations anywhere.

The flight into Merida (capital city of the State of Yucatan) is convenient and only 35 minutes by drive to your oceanfront vacation home. We can help with a rental car and easy access to the house. GPS works very well (google 'Casa Elgin Mexico' and it should locate our home!). We have all the conveniences you need: internet access, washer/dryer, AC in every room, and the best oceanfront view anywhere. PLEASE NOTE: We currently are renting our home in Mexico thru AirBNB. We haven't added availability here because of the occasional bookings thru the rental site. Please contact me with inquiries though- I'll be happy to check open dates for you! :)
