Our house is a 2-story townhouse located at Kvaløya, around 8 km from the airport, and around 12 km from Tromsø city centre. You can get here easily by bus. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location is a perfect base for trekking, bicycling, city walks and exploring the surroundings around Tromsø, such as the Kvaløya and Senja islands and the Lyngen alps. The entrance is at the ground floor, where three of the bedrooms and the two bathrooms are located. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed, and one a single bed. In the first floor, we have a living-room, office, kitchen and two bedrooms. In one of the bedrooms there is a double sleeping sofa, and in the other one there is a double bed. The entrance to the garden and terrace is from the first floor, and is situated towards the south. We have a nice backyard towards south, with a dining table and sofa group, where you can relax, away from the wind from the north. We also have a dog - a Lagotto Romagnolo, named "Totto". He does not shed, but it might be that some allergics will have problems staying at our house.

There are two local groceries within 1 km and a bigger mall 10 km from the house. The nature is in our backyard, and you can reach the nearby mountains without using car or bus. Tromsø and the area around has fantastic mountains where you can hike, go mountain biking, ski, and many nice fjords where you can go paddling, fishing, swimming (if you are tough enough), or just relax and listen to the nature. If you want to travel to Tromsø centre, you can easily do that with the local bus, and in fact it is easier due to traffic load and expensive parking costs. And during winter time, driving can be a challenge if it is a lot of snow.
