Our home is in a quiet residential area just outside Tromsø city, with a fantastic view over the Tromsø Island and the mountains on Kvaløya. The house was built in 1978 of approximately 180m2. The house was refurbished when we bought it in 2012. The house is in good condition, and the common areas are spacious, with a kitchen and a large diningroom and a living room. The kitchen is fully equipped. In summer meals can be enjoyed outside on the balcony in warm weather, and if it's chilly you settle down in the dining room and enjoy the views of the mountain and sky! The house has 4 bedrooms: Master bedroom with a 180cm-bed, one bedroom with a 150cm bed, one bedroom with a 90 cm bed and last bedroom with a sofabed. In addition, we have an extra mattress in the attic if necessary. The house has a ground floor and a second floor. Washing machine in the basement. Two bedrooms are downstairs, plus a bathroom with bathtub and toilet, and a small toilet, as well as closets and storage-rooms. Two bedrooms are in the second floor with a TV-room. Outside the dining room we have a large wooden terrace facing Southwest, where you can enjoy the midnight sun. The garden has a huge trampoline, and a play cabin. We also have bicycles and a Volvo XC 60 which can be made available if we agree upon a car exchange.

Lo que te va a encantar del barrio

The house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to the city center, restaurants, shops and nature. In the winther season you can watch the Aurora Borealis, you can go dog-sledding, whale-watching or visit the reindeers. There are skiing possibilities for both beginners and experienced skiers. For indoor activities you can visit the nice cafes and museums in the city centre, or do some shopping. In the summer there are good conditions for hiking in the nearby mountains. You can go by cable car to Fjelheisen, visit the famous church Ishavskatedralen with its beautiful glass paintings. From May 20th to July 20th we have the midnight sun. There are lots of nice areas to visit, both close to the house and within a hour by car.

Fantastic view Calm and private, buss to the town center just 5 min away. We have a nice and sunny balcony for meals outside when the weather allows it!
