*** Beautiful, quiet and sunny luxury 94 sqm (1000sqft) 1-br penthouse apartment in the best location in Budapest, close to the Danube river, Parliament, Chain Bridge and the Basilica, right next to the best cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs in Budapest. This apartment is the only apartment on the top floor of a 5 story building, with an elevator up to the 4th floor. It's centrally located in the best part of the city, but still extremely quiet for those that are sensitive to noise. The apartment is a fully furnished one bedroom apartment with a very high quality (luxury hotel standard) king-size mattress, and with a brand new luxurious Marriot Hotel mattress topper - Like sleeping on a bed of clouds :) The couch also folds out into a full-sized bed and is very comfortable. The living room is equipped with an HDMI projector, sound system and Netflix so that can watch your favorite movies on the home theatre screen. The modern and spacious kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer, a built in wine fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso machine for coffee lovers. The dining area seats up to 6 people. The bathroom features a luxurious bathtub that easily fits two people, so you can unwind with a bubble bath and relax at the end of a busy day of touring the city. Situated right in the heart of the Budapest, our apartment is just a stones throw away from the Danube river, Parliament, Chain Bridge and St. Stephen's Basilica. Quality restaurants, bars, nightlife and cafes are all within a few minutes walk. Literally around the corner is one of our favourite and one of the most well known Italian restaurants in town, "Pomo Doro". There is also a great Vietnamese restaurant, Chinese restaurant and a great cafe within a block of the apartment. Just down the street you can get the best coffee in the city at Espresso Embassy, and there is also a lovely French bakery that has delicious bread and pastries. In addition, there is a supermarket a block from the apartment, should you want to buy some groceries and cook a meal at home. Centrally located with only a few minutes walking distance to local transport links so you have easy access to the entire city. - 3 minute walk to the number 2 tram line - 3 minute walk to the red metro line - 7 minute walk to the blue metro line Located 300 meters from the apartment, Liberty Square (Szabadsag ter. in Hungarian) is one of the nicest parks in Budapest and has 24/7 parking facilities for ~13 EUR a day or ~30 EUR for 3 days. *** Three things we love about our apartment: • It's quiet and private. Being in the center of everything, we still get to enjoy our peace and quiet. There's no walkways outside the windows, unlike in many Budapest apartments. • Fantastic location. We love that we can walk to get anywhere we need in the city, the spectacular views of the river, castles and bridges are just around the corner. • It's cozy and sunny. Quite often we just don't want to leave our apartment. We turn on some ambient music or set up the projector to watch a movie, while sipping a cup of warm chai latte.
