WE ARE MOVING TO A NEW HOUSE IN DECEMBER AND WONT DO ANY MORE EXCHANGES THIS YEAR :)
Our new home will be a few kilometres south of the senter of Tromsø. It's a brand new house with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a very nice view.
85 sqm new and cosy apartment with a large and sunny terrace. There is a lawn and a playground just outside. We have some bicycles available.
From here you can watch the midnight sun, or the Aurora (Northern lights).
There are nice hiking areas nearby, and also areas good for alpine or cross country-skiing. There are forest tracks perfect for walking, jogging or cycling, starting less than a kilometre from the house, and you can also enjoy a picnic area where you can lit up a fire, approx 2,5 km from the house.
The apartment has a citchen and a living room, a bathroom, and three bedrooms. One with a double bed, one with a single bed, and another one with a queen size bed (120 cm - sleeps one or two persons).
In the winther season you can watch the Aurora Borealis, you can go dog-sledding, whale-watching or visit the reindeers. There are skiing possibilities for both beginners and experienced skiers, and you can do guided snow-shoeing trips. For indoor activities you can visit the nice cafes and museums in the city centre, or do some shopping.
In the summer there are good conditions for hiking in the nearby mountains. You can go by cable car to Fjelheisen, visit the famous church Ishavskatedralen with its beautiful glass paintings. From May 20th to July 20th the sun is up day and night; the Midnight sun. Except when it is cloudy, of couse :) There are lots of nice areas to visit, with beautiful white sandy beaches. Nice for a picnic, but cold to swim.
Also in summer you can visit Troms wilderness centre to say hello to the dogs. Guided boat trips are available year around.
Children would love to visit Leos lekeland - an indoor area for play and fun, with trampolines, slides etc.
In Bardu, a 2 1/2 hour drive, you can visit the zoo Polar Park and watch the animals who live in the arctic areas.
