Last minute opening: available For GPs 02.27-03.07 Our apartment is in the original villa quarter of Budapest, with lots of beautiful mansions, embassies, and a very pleasant atmosphere. It is one street away from Heroes Square and the largest park of Budapest, the Városliget. The subway is 3-4 mins walk from the apartment, and in 5 minutes it takes you to the centre of Budapest - alternatively, you can just have a nice walk on the most beautiful boulevard of Budapest (Andrássy Avenue) to reach either the city centre or the Heroe's Square. At the edge of the square, you can find the largest park of Budapest and one of the oldest zoos in Europe. This park has been recently remodeled and now looks amazing with some cool venues, like the House of Music. While you are never more than 15 mins away from the "action" (bars, restaurants etc.) you get to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the 19th-century mansions. The area is very safe and calm. Our apartment is situated on the top floor of a 19th-century residential house originally built for the aristocracy and upper-class, commissioned by a rich brick factory magnate. Our apartment faces a garden which makes it quiet, but as it is on the top floor with large windows you can expect bright spaces and lots of air. Our apartment is on the 3rd floor and the house has no elevator as it is from the 19th century. We fell in love with our 80 sqm apartment because of the huge spaces: the living room and the adjacent bedroom itself is 60 sqm and the 3.5m high-ceiling makes it elegant and airy. Our whole apartment feels as one large space thanks to the huge 19th-century doors connecting the rooms. We redesigned our apartment with lots of attention to the smallest details. We wanted to fuse the romantic charm with modern, loft style character and tried to incorporate as much from the original elements as possible. We restored the original oak parquet with a rustic finish to complement the exposed brick walls - showing the original building blocks of the house. We picked classic, glam and industrial elements to complement each other. The crown gem of our apartment is the 10 sqm balcony opening from the bedroom. It's a perfect place for a relaxed read, for a breakfast, or glass of wine in the evening. As the apartment is on the top of the building you can enjoy the sun throughout the whole day on the terrace. We have AC for the summer. Our home has 2 large rooms and is suitable for 2 adults (master bedroom with king size bed). If you have kids we can add an air bed to accommodate them, and we also have a cot for a baby. We have a well-equipped kitchen, with electric grill, blender etc. if you want to cook yourself. We have three race style bikes (two adult male size, and one that is ok for women around 170 cm or taller) which you can use freely during your stay to explore Budapest. Alternatively, we are very near to the closest stop of Budapest's city bike system where you can easily rent a bike and leave it at a stop close to your destination. About us: We are a young professional couple with a baby, We enjoy exploring new cities, love to bike and enjoy local gastronomy. This is our real home that we created for ourselves, but right now we don't live in it as we temporarily relocated to the US. Regards, Svetlana and Balazs

This area is the original villa quarter of Budapest, with lots of beautiful mansions, embassies, and a very pleasant atmosphere. The subway is 3-4 mins walk from the apartment, and in 5 minutes it takes you to the center of Budapest - alternatively, you can just have a nice walk on the most beautiful boulevard of Budapest (Andrássy str) to reach the either the city center or the Heroe's Square (surrounded by the largest park of Budapest and the zoo). While you are never more than 15 mins away from the "action" (bars, restaurants etc.) you get to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the 19th-century mansions. The area is very safe and calm.

We designed every detail with lots of care keeping the original charm with a bit of twist. It is 3 mins to subway at Heroes Square, or 10 mins walk to city centre. It is in the most beautiful villa area of Budapest in a 120-year-old ornate and authentic residential house.
