Our house represents typical norwegian family living. It is spacious and functional. We have 5 bedrooms, 2 livingrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 Baths. The garden is nice, and includes a spacious terrace, ideal for barbecue and fun! There is a lots of toys as well as a Playstation and sourround system avaliable for the children. There is also a nice trampoline in the garden. A small park is close to the house. The bottom floor has two bedrooms, bathroom, livingroom and kitchen. It can function as an own apartment, with seperate entrance, which is available as an alternative if non- simultanious exchanges, or in combination with the house. (Ideal for two families travelling together, or for a couple who would like something simpler.) Our home is located a 15 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive from the city centre main street. A 7 seats car is available for the exchange, if needed. Come and experience the bright nordic atmosphere. What makes our home unique is the location. Close to the city centre (shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, museums, activities), situated in a quiet residential area. Sandnes is the gateway to the fjords, and beautiful Stavanger is only 15 minutes away. The famous Pulpit rock from Mission Impossible 6 (one hour), 70 km of sandy beaches/surf (15 minutes), mountains and hiking tracks (15 minutes) are in close distance. In winter time cross country skiing and slalom/snowboard facilities are one hour drive away. Stavanger is also known to be the culinary capital of Norway with its restaurants located in a lovely historic environment. Here you can experience bars, cafes, museums, picturesque streets and buildings. The adventure park "Kongeparken" is just 15. min away by car, and offers a fully packed action - day with over 50 different attractions: http://www.kongeparken.no/english/ "Vitenfabrikken" is a nice place for the kids with exciting exhibitions and interactive instalations.
