Lo que te va a encantar en esta casa

Our spacious, 138 sqm appartment on the ground floor is ideal for a family. We have a parents area with a huge bedroom with plenty of space for a fashionista, a quiet working room for home office and a second bathroom. The children have their own rooms with double put up beds. The sunlight plays all day in our living room and kitchen. We also love our terrace, where we sunbath, eat and play a lot. Our home is in a newly built condo with very nice, sophisticated neighbors. We can accomodate up to 8 adults, as our sofa in the living room can work as a double-bed and also the beds in the children's rooms are normal adult size.

Lo que te va a encantar del barrio

Our apartment is situated in a quiet, green part of Budapest with a lake, a sports center and a public pool in walking distance. While you enjoy the forest views at the same time you will be relatively close to the city center. A 40-minutes car or public transport trip (bus or tram stop 2 mins from our place) will take you to the center, to the mighty river Danube splitting our wonderful city into the Buda and Pest halves. You can immerse yourself in all the cultural, entertainment, fine-dining and shopping opportunities historic Budapest offers. Take a boat ride on the river Danube to get a feel for one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Visit the Castle Hill and enjoy spectacular city views among the palaces and museums, walk some of the seven bridges across the Danube, try a thermal bath and marvel at the number of world heritage buildings gracing your walks. You can also do day trips all over Hungary, e.g. nearby Buda hills, reknowned arts center Szentendre, a medieval castle in Visegrad, spas, castles, mansions, churches, forts, national parks, wineries all over the country, etc. Our home is located close to the start of the M1 and M7 highways though you will not hear any of their traffic noise. The M1 highway leads to Vienna, Austria, located 240 kms or 150 mi. from our place - a 3 hour drive including traffic in both cities. Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia is even closer, 190 kms or 120 mi., a 2.5 hour drive away on the same highway. The M7 highway is the route to Lake Balaton (the largest lake in Central Europe), its closest beach is 88 km or 55 mi. away, a one hour drive. Even though Lake Balaton is as big as some seas you won't find scary fish in it. In addition to activities around Budapest, Lake Balaton, Vienna and Bratislava you can use our home as a hub to discover more of Central Europe. There are endless 2- or 3-day trip possibilities in many countries: Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic (Prague 5 hours by car or train), Slovenia, Croatia (beaches 5 hours by car), Serbia, Romania (Transylvania 6 hours by car).

Nice garden, terrace with a lake view. Spacious living area for the parents, separate rooms and bathroom for two children. We can host up to 8 adults. Sport center with swimming pool, gym, lake in walking distance, city center 40 mins by car/public transport. Golf club 10 minutes by car. We prefer to plan ahead and ideally our guests stay more than 3 days at our place. We prefer families, if you come with more than 4 people, we might charge you an extra night for the extra towels and bed linen.
