Our exchange with Emily and Niall has been absolutely fantastic , we have had a wonderful holiday at their home in Dublin . Since the beginning , they have been so excited and helpful, giving us lots of information (their information book is amazing) and comments about things to do and places to visit. They also got us some tickets to use at certain amenities and recommended some lessons that my daughters and I wanted to take… Our house was perfect when we came back and they even left some presents for everyone. Their neighbourhood is great and lively, and the house is close to all amenities ( shops , cafés , cinemas, swimming pools and gyms … ) and not far from the city centre. There is a bus stop almost at their doorstep and the Luas (tramway) stop is at a five-minute walk . Emily and Niall’s house is really nice and spacious, with a big garden, an open concept kitchen and living-room. There is a BBQ , trampoline, toys and a nice deck and grassy area , a swing …ideal for children . The house is very luminous , with beautiful furniture and very well equipped, we have felt better than at our own home . There is also a beautiful park just opposite the house , with a fantastic playground and great to go for a walk . Dublin is such an interesting place to visit , there are so many things going on … All in all, our experience has been amazing thanks to Emily and Niall , we have been able to relax at their home and get the most of Dublin at the same time !!! We definitely recommend this exchange to anyone, Emily and Niall have been so nice and reliable!!

What we said about Aurelio e Inma's house:

Aurelio and Inma's house is simply amazing. It is in a beautiful white village, perched under a castle, with amazing views from their balcony. The house itself is lovely and cool inside. It has everything. We used their parasol for the beach, and their beach chairs for the beach and pool. There were lots of toys that our kids had a great time playing with. There was a huge paddling pool. The balcony is also so well equipped with furniture to sit outside and enjoy the view, and 2 huge parasols. There is furniture for kids. There is a very comfy couch and a big rocking chair, fans, big tv with Disney channel in English [handy with tired kids], comfy beds, mosquito spray and nets on windows [though there are hardly any - if any - mosquitos as they love me and I didn't get bitten]. The kitchen is very well equipt. It has everything you might need. A short stroll away there is a grocery shop and a delicious tapas bar, "Los Perez". Down in the village there is a lovely pool, so clean, inexpensive, with a little cafe. There are 2 supermarkets, one of which is open all day until 10pm. There is a little bazaar selling all sorts of everything. The village square is great to go by in the evenings. There is a playground there [there are at least 3 playgrounds in the village, one at the bottom of the road from the house] and lots of people enjoying the evening cool and chatting. There was even a free open air concert one evening. The weather was wonderful, not humid, and in the evenings cool and lovely. Jimena is beautiful and the people are very welcoming. It is also full of trees and flowers. The beach at Sotogrande is gorgeous. Ronda is a spectacular train ride away. We also had a brilliant time visiting Tarifa. However we found it hard to leave Jimena on many trips as we were having such a lovely time relaxing there. Aurelio and Inma made us feel so welcome. They made sure we had everything we needed and that we had all the information we needed. It was so easy. Also, they took great care of our home. When we came home it was even better than we had left it. It was nice for us to know that there were trustworthy people looking after our house while we enjoyed our time away. Thanks so much for the flowers, Aurelio and Inma, you have made us want to have fresh flowers every day!

Our exchange with Emily and Niall has been a fantastic experience. We had the perfect family vacation we were looking for. Our kids attended during two weeks to a day multisport camp organized by the Columbus Club, where they had such a great time and made a lot of new friends (they were so happy to go all the mornings despite to have to wake up early). Emily gave us a lot of information about camps in the surrounding area. Then, we had time for parents in the morning (walking to the city centre, in the nice surrounding area of the house or along the river path located in the south side, by bike or not), resting afternoons, family time in the evening in the lovely garden, in the park in front of the house or in the cinema which is very close from home. We also had daytrips on weekends like Wicklow mountains (the very pretty gardens of Ireland), Glendalough (“two lakes valley” as the incredible bus driver Harry told us), Newgrange (History world heritage), Tara Hills and Tayto Park. We have enjoyed so much their great home, it is perfect for all kind of families, I had my perfect reading siestas in the garden and our kids many times didn’t want to go out because they were having a great time at home with the toys a and especially in the trampoline. The neighbourhood is so nice, peaceful, close to all the amenities you need (shops, cafes, cinema...) and walking distance to the city centre. Additionally, they have bus connections at the doorstep and the Luas stop is five minutes’ walk from home. Emily & Niall were amazing before and during the exchange with their help and information on things to do, places to eat and places to visit in the area, this really helped us to make the most of our holiday. As a summary, it has been a funny, cultural, sportive stay in a pretty house belonging to a lovely family. We can highly recommend it. Thank you very much family. Eva & Ramón.

What we said about EVA & RAMÓN WITH VICTOR AND MARC's house:

We had a brilliant exchange with Eva & Ramón. They have a great book about their area so we had lots of information before we got there and so were able to make the most of every day we were there. We have 2 young kids and for us it was perfect. Eva & Ramón were able to lend us bikes, bodyboards and everything we needed for the beach, which made packing and travelling very easy. The apartment is lovely inside, and there are lots of toys and air conditioning. The area has all amenities close to hand. There is a playground directly outside. There is a big park with a pool about 50 meters from the house. The pool is gorgeous, you can relax there all morning, pop home for lunch, and go back for more later if you want. There are playgrounds in the park, and lots of space for picnics and bbqs, lots of tables and so on, and a lovely family atmosphere at the weekend when the park is buzzing with activity. On the other side of the park there are lots of roads down to the beach. There is also a planetarium. We went to a free concert there which was lovey. The beach is great and has great facilities. There are restaurants and a great boardwalk which is lovely to cycle on. We borrowed Eva & Ramón's bikes, and the kids bikes. We could also use them to cycle the short distance to the marina area which we did a lot in the evenings, for ice creams and so on. There are lots of bars and restaurants and shops close by. The local Mercadona supermarket is close by and had everything we needed. We also checked out the beaches in Benicasim which were gorgeous, I would highly recommend them, especially Torre de Saint Vincente and Volamar. Lots of lovely restaurants, walkways, markets, things to see and do, great facilities, friendly people. We went on one day trip to Aquarama water park and another to Peniscola [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peniscola], and we had a great time at each. However is was so lovely and relaxing where we were that we were happy to stay there enjoying ourselves :) We also did a car swap and their car is lovely, very modern and easy to drive. Eva's brother dropped in on us to make sure we were ok, and our hosts were always on hand by email to help us with any questions we had. We were spoiled! Eva & Ramón, you have a beautiful home, and you are so fun and welcoming, thank you for a fantastic holiday, we hope to stay in touch!
