¡Saludos desde Jávea!
We are a family of four and we love to travel and to live new experiences together. These experiences have joined us very much and have made us very respectful with the others. The apartment we offer is our second home and we wish that you give so happy moments as what we have enjoyed in it.
We had an absolutely wonderful time in Javea. The apartment is beautiful - gleaming, stylish and with a lovely shaded terrace with sofas, ceiling fan and bouganvillea. Javea is a perfect family destination. The new town - the Arenal - has a gently shelving sandy beach with a promenade and lots of restaurants and parks on the beach. The port area is very cosmopolitan, and the old town - which is a short drive away - is absolutely stunning: medieval narrow alleyways, arches, squares with tapas bars and an excellent museum. We'd recommend hiring a car as there is also lots to see outside of Javea. The mountain trails are great (there are several nearby in Montgo National Park - one which leads to the best snorkel spot in a cave we have ever seen). We also enjoyed the villages of Guadalepe and Denia, and the cities Valencia and Alicante (both an hour's drive way). We spent three weeks in Javea and loved every minute. We were in the sea and the pool every day, and especially enjoyed snorkelling. Josechu and family had everything we could possibly want and made us feel very welcome.
Before we start the trip to Bristol Olga and I just feared the impression that my children would bring from there, because we had never done with them a stay away from home so long, and also because they waived part of the summer on the beach that they appreciate very much. Now that we have finished the trip, my wife and I feel that our expectations have been exceeded because we have known the very interesting city of Bristol and from Bristol we have travelled to lovely places, discovering a beautiful land, very cared for and loved by welcoming and friendly people. But what is more pleasant for us is how much my children have enjoyed, to the point that they have sincerely regretted the end of our visit to Bristol, and this has been thanks largely to Ali and James's house where they have felt in a comfortable and familiar atmosphere with all the attractions that they could wish for. These have been a holidays that we will always remember, that has enriched us and attached more and that has enabled us to make new friends, Ali, James and his sons. Thanks a lot.
