This was our first exchange and we feel very lucky to have exchanged with Maggie. We spent five weeks in Vancouver during May/June 2014. Maggie's condo had everything we needed and we found it really easy to use public transport to go everywhere we wanted. We had car trips to Seattle, Vancouver Island and Whistler, all of which are fairly close by. We particularly enjoyed the view from the condo and the weather during our stay couldn't have been better. Although we have not yet met, we feel that Maggie has become a friend.

A friend and I spent a long weekend in Maggie’s chic Kitsilano apartment. We found her home to be very well located and close to shopping, with good bus service to downtown. It’s also easy to reach by car, since it’s fairly close to Granville Street (Highway 99). The apartment is modern with a very elegant and feminine décor. It is compact, but Maggie made space for our personal items, and the kitchen is well equipped with the latest appliances. While it faces onto a commercial street, the balcony overlooks a residential area with lots of trees and double-glazing makes it easy to sleep. It’s a great place to walk, whether around the neighbourhood, over to trendy 4th Avenue shops shops, food stores and restaurants, or down to “Kits" beach. We spent rainy days in museums and the Vancouver Art Gallery, and better weather outdoors. including the Aquarium. Maggie was a pleasure to deal with over arrangements. Feel free to pose any questions.

What we said about Robin's house:

My friend and I spent a lovely Spring long weekend at Robin's beautiful home in Victoria. The neighbourhood is wonderful - very close to the beach, walking distance to restaurants and grocery shopping, right near Beacon Hill Park - you couldn't ask for a better location! The home itself is spacious, spotless, quiet and comfortable. I would highly recommend Robin's home for an exchange to a lovely city.
