Greetings from London!
We are Terry and Anna (both teachers) and we have two gorgeous boys who are 12 and 8. Travel is one of our reasons for living and we are looking for a lovely spacious home (if possible one big enough to allow friends to travel with us) from which to explore an interesting part of the world.

Spending two weeks in the northern part of London was a fantastic experience. Even though the tube station for the Piccadilly Line is just round the corner, and so are the overground station and the national trains - you can easily take part in the real life of locals there. Very tempting around here is to walk a lot and also use these lovely countless red buses. We enjoyed some of the wonderful parks and the surprising views on Central London. Anna's and Terry's house was a perfect place for us to relax : very quiet, lots of rooms and space to use , we really didn't miss anything. We felt very comfortable.
We had a fantastic time in this beautiful home in a lovely part of Germany. The house itself is very large and very stylish, the interior having been designed by Heiner (who is an architect) and it has a delightful courtyard where we enjoyed many lovely meals. Ruppertsberg is a charming small town surrounded by vineyards and less than a kilometre away is Deidesheim, which the really is one of the most beautiful towns of the 'German Wine Road'. A ten minute drive away are tree covered hills. The area has excellent road links to places such as Heidleberg and Baden-Baden. All-in-all this is great place to spend time and please take up Heiner and Juliana's offer to spend a few days with them as they without doubt the most charming of hosts.
It was a wonderful experience as we lived the true London life! It was our first experience and we are very very excited! Terry and Anna have a lovely typical British house, close to transportation and perfect to visit the city. You can reach it directly from the Victoria Line that departs directly in the Heathrow airport. We were glad to see that treated our house us their own. They are an happy and nice family; we found new friends and wish them all the best for their future exchanges. Paolo & Flaminia
This was our first exchange and it could hardly have been better. The house is bright and spacious, has a lovely garden which backs onto open fields and is barely 100m from the sea. Further, it is situated within easy reach of superb volcanic lakes and numerous medieval hilltop towns, all of which seem undiscovered by non-Italians. Fantastic! Our hosts, Paolo & Flaminia, were great and they have become firm friends. If you want a beautiful slice of Italian life, then swap with Paolo & Flaminia. Terry, Anna, Bob and Nate.
We had a really wonderful holiday in London. Living in this house was great!!!! And it is just the perfect location to have quiet nights and to enjoy nice days exploring London. Even with four children we managed to do a lot of sightseeing because there were buses and the tube nearby going into central London. But we also liked the area around the house very much with e.g. Finsbury Park being so close. We were also happy to find our house very tidy and the pets seemed to have been looked after very well!! Also, everything about the organisation of the house swap went just perfect.
We spent two wonderful weeks in the house of Terry and Anna. Since this was our first swap, the fun started already with enthousiastic e-mails between London and the Netherlands. Terry and Anna have a lovely house and a lovely cat (Whiskers). We felt immediately at home. This was for us and our three children the perfect location to explore the city and some other parts of England. The children loved all the games in the house and the electric piano as well (and also the Primark in walking distance...). We've seen and done a lot in these two weeks, thanks to the good tips from Terry and the great location. We really acquired a taste for swapping now. Thank you!
