Welcome to beautiful Santa Barbara!
I am a Registered Nurse in the Birth Center, and a Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner for the past 27 years, and I like to travel!
I often go with my boyfriend, John, who also works at the hospital, or with my family or friends.
My mom and dad live nearby, as does my sister and her 2 children. My daughter travels quite a lot, but we are lucky to have her living in Santa Barbara for now.
John's twin girls live in Colorado, and we steal them away whenever we can :)
John and I would enjoy doing occasional long weekend trips - somewhere easily accessible by car as well.
I am very attentive to keeping my home clean and comfortable, and I will treat your home with respect!
A truly wonderful home in a great central neighborhood. Our family of four stayed for a weekend in November 2013 and we had a fantastic time enjoying Heidi's home and visiting Santa Barbara. We went to the Mission area, the beach, downtown and a few other parts of the city and all were within easy reach-- many even in walking distance. The living space is cozy, comfortable, quiet and clean. The kitchen was great to cook in and there's a front patio with a beautiful view and a small backyard to relax in as well. A fabulous home base for seeing the area. Heidi was gracious and wonderful in every respect. She shared tons of useful information and provided games and fun stuff for the kids as well. She took great care of our home and we hope to exchange with her again soon. VERY highly recommended!!
This house was perfect for us! I wanted to bring my grandkids to Disneyland but did not want to stay in a big hotel. Lynne and Chris have a great house; fun to stay in, comfortable, and super convenient. The kids were almost as excited about staying there as they were to go to Disneyland. Alex and Katy are very lucky kids to have such creative and fun-loving parents to make their rooms so super cool! It made our trip not only more affordable, but added a memorable experience for them. Lynne left us little messages and it could not have been easier! On the flip side, our home was clean and well cared for, and they left us a note about how much fun they had in Santa Barbara. I still have a picture up on my fridge that Katy drew for us. If you decide to exchange with this family, make sure to leave out some coloring pens for the artist!
We loved staying at Heidi's place in Santa Barbara. It's in the perfect location to explore the downtown area and the amazing beaches in the Santa Barbara vicinity. Heidi's townhouse is immaculate and comfortable. She really went out her way to make us feel at home. I hope we get another opportunity to visit Santa Barbara. It's such a cute town with amazing restaurants and a laid back vibe.
