Especially Passionate About

A little fishing, a little history, a little shopping and a LOT of good food!!

The men in the family are avid fishermen, mostly fly-fishing, but they will do whatever it takes to catch the "big one"! They have set a goal to fish the most famous waters of the world and Homeexchange.com is making that more realistic! I prefer "fishing" for the good shopping deals and exploring the history of the areas we visit. Growing up in the "foodie" capital of NC-Asheville!-we all enjoy fine local cuisine wherever we travel!

We had a wonderful time staying at your spacious, comfortable home in Beech Mountain. The children's room was a very popular hangout for our kids. Also really enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace. Plenty of fun in the snow. Activities we enjoyed included sledding, tubing, ziplining, ice skating and walks in your scenic neighborhood. Thank you for helping make our Christmas a truly memorable one.

What we said about Jerry & Claudia's house:

We had a lovely time in this well-appointed waterfront home in Vero Beach. The boys kayaked and fished, catching many yummy sea trout! We enjoyed plenty of bedrooms, with an upstairs master retreat, and a separate guest house for the grandparents! The family was so kind and left us a lovely fruit basket and a well-stocked fridge and pantry. They made our exchange experience most pleasant and we truly had a wonderful time!

Fabulous, Fabulous cabin in Beech Mountain. House is in sytle and well kept. The kids area is totally "off the hook" great job! Alot to do in the area with hiking, festivals etc. We had a great time, saw deer out the window, loved the fireplace. The owner went out of her way to ensure we were well taken care of. Easy to get to, if snowing you will need 4*4.

We had a wonderful family get together over Thanksgiving at this lovely house. Cynthia made sure we had everything we needed and made this occasion very special for our stay. The kids had a great time hiking and hanging out in the kids area, while the adults got to visit by the fireplace in the family room. We saw deer everyday and really enjoyed the lovely town. Thanks for a wonderful stay! - Laura

What we said about Laura's house:

We loved this location and accommodations! The ski resort was uncrowded, fresh powder, no lines, and the condo was well-appointed and ski-in/ski-out! Perfect for families! Close to Winter Park for more advanced skiing. We also went snowmobiling in the Arapahoe National Forest and ice-fished on Grand Lake! We loved it! Would love to come back in the summer sometime!
