The Amichetti's are a fibrant and very warm and welcoming family. Their house lies beautifully close to the centre of the city. All comfort available and we slept wonderfully. At the end of our stay we spend a short time together and we felt very much at ease and at home. We had dinner together with friends, music and Claudia gorgeous empanadas. We were sad we had to leave. Thankfully they are coming our way this summer and we will meet again.

A fantastic first experience in Patagonia. Gus has been the best for our family, warm hearted, welcoming, helpful in every possible ways. The house is nicely located, relatively close to the airport, and easy to access. Patagonia is full of dirt track so no worries about taking them to reach the property, it is totally common in that part of the world. The neighborhood is super calm, rather safe and the house offer open views to the lake. For us 4, the house was just the perfect base. Recently built, it offers all the comfort one can hope for. We splept well, we ate well, we rested well, what else??? We have even borrowed sleeping bags and backpack. The region of Bariloche is just a goldmine for the lovers of nature and trekkings. We stayed 2 weeks and felt like we could stay another 2 months just to discover all the mounts and peaks of the area. The mixture between the cordillera, the green and the lakes gives you an incredible contrast full of beauty and surprises. Obviously if you are not into nature and outdoors activities, you might consider another place. Among other things, we've done kayaking, trekkings, fishing, horse ridding, moutain biking, etc... and we've loved it. Though we were touching the summer period, I must say we were fortunate to have taken clothing for cold and warm weather. Both can occur and we've tested it. From freezing and high winds to pure calm and boating! Another type of contrast... We've met also Gus afterwards when staying in Buenos Aires and we've loved our dinner together with his charming wife. A five star trip with plenty of fun.
