We spent nearly two weeks in Adelaide at Stewart and Loine's home. We enjoyed our time there a great deal. Their home is very attractive, comfortable, and well located. Stewart and Loine went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and to tell us of the excellent selection of local restaurants and activities. Adelaide is a charming city that lends itself to exploration by walking. It also has much to offer in easy driving range. The Barossa is an easy day trip, and we think that it is one of the very best wine regions in the world to visit. We felt that the Adelaide botanical garden was superior to the gardens in Sydney and Melbourne. The Aboriginal exhibit in the South Australian Museum was the best explanation of a hunter-gatherer society that we have seen anywhere. The Cleland Wild Animal Park is a good way to see some of the Australian fauna, like koalas and kangaroos in an interactive setting. Overall, we felt that this was an excellent home exchange, and that it would would be great to go back to Adelaide during their festivals.

What we said about Todd & Susan's house:

We spent two weeks in San Francisco at Todd and Susan's compact, comfortable, quiet and secure apartment. Todd and Susan were welcoming and helpful hosts. The apartment is well located right next to the Yerba Buena Park and Center for the Arts and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. We throughly enjoyed our stay and were able to walk from the apartment to many of the local attractions and restaurants including the organic farmers food market and the waterfront, the Downtown area, Chinatown and North Beach. There are good public transport services and lots of taxis right at the front door or the apartment building. There is a superb organic store for all your provisions just a short walk from the apartment. We enjoyed it so much we want to go back! There is still much to explore and enjoy in San Francisco and beyond.
