We really enjoyed our stay in Georgi and Annelli's apartment in Tallinn. The location was perfect, and the apartment was just what we needed travelling with a baby. All the sights were within a 15-minute walk, and there was a large supermarket just down the road. Annelli, Georgi and their two friends took great care of our home and our cat, and we would not hesitate to recommend them for your future exchanges. Tallinn is a gem of a city (UNESCO World Heritage), well worth spending at least a week in. Because Estonia is a compact country, it is easy to use the capital as a base for easy daytrips just about anywhere. We spent a day in Helsinki, which is an hour and a half away by boat. Another wonderful place is Laakemaa National Park, where the walking and beach opportunities are endless. We went to Estonia (and Latvia)in early August, and had beautiful weather the whole time. It was warm and sunny from 4:00am to 10:00pm, which means you can see a lot in a day.
