Beautiful Floridian home, full of charm, with a magnificent pool which is much appreciated due to the warm weather in Florida during the summer months. It has an adjacent gazebo which permits eating ones' meals outdoors in the charming garden. The owners, who we were able to meet us before our exchange, made us feel comfortable as soon as we met them. Orlando is centrally located for visiting Disney and other Central Florida attractions. We also loved to swim in the natural "Springs" which come from underground rivers and are quite cool and refreshing. The water is crystalline and much warmer than mountain springs.

What we said about Nathalie's house:

We spent 3 exciting and wonderful weeks in this charming apartment located in central Paris. It is situated very close to the Latin Quarter,Luxembourg Gardens and Notre Dame de Paris. This luminous two bedroom apartment is located on the 4th floor of an ancient, but renovated apartment building built in the 17th century. From it's windows,we,indeed, experienced a special moment seeing the Parisian moonlight and the pristine, white towers of St. Sulpice. We were fortunate to meet our exchange family who we found to be charming!

It was the first time for us and we are very happy about this concept !Our exchange with a very nice and respectfull american couple, was fantastic. We were with our 2 young children and we lived like an american family and discovered all the beautiful things to do ( parks, museums, Miami,Everglades...). Winter park is a really charming town ! It was a great opportunity to discovered Florida in a real way and serenity !We would love to make more home exchange now !!!!

What we said about Thomas's house:

Paris-16th Arrondissmont referred to as "Passy" is an elegant, interesting and central part of Paris. The period architecture and the large moderinized apartment was stunningly beautiful. The host family were delightful and enthusistic about making the exchange enjoyable. We can highley recommend this exceptional home that overlooks Park Ranlagh to anyone that is looking for the opportunity to live in a early 1900's building and surrounded by the Paris lifestyle of the elegent 16th.

This was our first exchange experience, so we where pretty nervous about it. But it turned out to be a fantastic holiday! Winter Park is a great, safe and friendly place to spend a couple of weeks. Especially when you have small kids, like we do. The area is very nice for a stroll and there is lots to do. Beautiful (BIG) playgrounds, swimming area's, fresh water springs, outlet shopping malls etc. And off course the great parks like Disney and Seaworld. The main street is full of great looking dinnerplaces, from sushi to Thais (loved this restaurant!) and Italian. Donald and Maureens home is like a mini resort, very comfortable. You can wonder trough the garden, see all kinds of butterflies, birds and even raccoons. We had a lot of fun in the swimming pool. There is a big gas barbecue that we used almost every evening. There are two large supermarkets in walking distance. We loved the Wholefood, where we bought the best organic meat and fish ever. Also great is the Starbucks at the end of the street :-). This wooden house is quite unique and beautiful. A neighbor told us it was ordered from a catalogue in the 1920's. It is very elegant and decorated with tiffany lamps and other attractive antiques. Donald and Maureen made us feel very welcome. They provided us with al the information needed for a good stay in their home, and a lot of suggestions for nice day trips. The house, the sheets and the (new and soft) towels where very clean. We had a great time, our three years old son is still talking about 'America' and how he wants to go back? We had a great time, and can reccommend this to anybody. Richard, Martine & Dexter
