UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Skiing, New Locations!

We are like many travelers who delve into the cultures and traditions of the civilizations that preceded us. World Heritage sites, like Stonehenge, The Great Wall, Pompeii and many others we have seen. Check out the UNESCO interactive map. http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/

We love snow skiing. And we're open to new places and ideas.

Excellent experience with seasoned home exchangers. Communication was great before the swap, during our stay and afterwards. Location in Whittier is outstanding and we enjoyed all aspects of our visit.

Spent one week in this beautiful Spanish home in Whittier California. Home was on a ravine with beautiful nighttime and daytime views of the LA area from several decks and many rooms. One of the decks had a great grill and outdoor kitchen and seating area, another deck had a nice seating area for morning coffee and afternoon wine. There was also a water feature that allowed water to flow from near the house to the bottom of the lot, stopping several times at small ponds. House was well maintained and had all the necessary equipment for a great vacation. Highly recommended.

What we said about Philip's house:

My wife and I are History buffs and love to visit old cities, historical sites, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and see where it all happened. This was perfect for us. This clever condominium conversion of an 1834 home is located walking distance to Old Charleston and Historic neighborhoods. The photo you see is the front the home with their unit on the ground floor, great for hauling baggage or those who are mobility challenged. Historic Charleston is a step back in time. You will love it. They left our home in impeccable condition.

We LOVED our exchange with Austin and Conny from Whittier ...

We LOVED our exchange with Austin and Conny from Whittier CA! This was our first exchange and their 18th??? but it was fantastic! Their home was beyond lovely, their gardens spectacular! My children and my mother (from SC) flew out for a week where we exchanged cars as well as homes. Conny was able to schedule their travel plans at the same time as ours which made for an easy transition from Airport terminal to driving away to our home away from home! We had 7 lovely days discovering the city, beaches and museums! Best of all, however, was enjoying coffee each morning on a different patio, veranda, deck or beside the backyard garden waterfalls! Thanks again to Conny and Austin for guiding us in the ways of homeexchange and for extending their warm hospitality! We hope to exchange again in the future with them!

What we said about Ann's house:

We enjoyed a fabulous exchange with Ann and her family. Salida is a lovely, historic town with great restaurants and shops. We skied every day at nearby Monarch mountain on wonderful, 18" of new powder in late March 2014! We understand Salida is also wonderful in the summer. Ann's house is lovely, large, private and very accommodating and clean (soaking in the hot tub was especially wonderful after skiing). We highly recommend others to exchange with Ann - you will have a great time!

Absolutely charming, clean and wonderful historic home with lots of character! We loved our stay in Conny and Austin's home and garden. The garden was spectacular! The location in Whittier is central to most everything around Los Angeles and worked well for us. Highly recommend. Conny and Austin left our home in pristine condition and we recommend them as exchangers without hesitation!

What to say? A beautiful house, quite large but yet friendly and warm and with a wonderful garden. The place is also ideal as a base camp for excursions all over the LA area. Conny and Mick are wonderful hosts and they have wonderful neighbors too! To sum up, an amazing home exchange, one of the most beautiful we had.
