We had a great time in Wimbledon. Sarah and family have a very comfortable cosy and super organised home. It is on the doorstep to the London Tube where we had ample opportunity to explore London! They left us great ideas of what to do in the local area and really enjoyed Wimbledon and its environs. We got a lovely feel for Sarah and her family and really appreciated the constant communication which made our trip much more beneficial. We would gladly revisit Southey Road and highly recommend it.

What we said about Hilda & Frank 's house:

We exchanged with Hilda and her family for a week, and had a wonderful time at their beautiful house. It is well located just outside Galway, and easy to explore the Connemara area. It was a great exchange - Hilda was very helpful and we kept in touch throughout the week. Highly recommended!

It was our second exchange experience and it was a successful exchange. We wanted to visit London with the kids and the McMaster house in Wimbledon was the right choice. The house is very comfortable, especially the living area and it has a cute garden with lovely grass, many different plants and a huge and modern barbeque. The area is very lively with shops, restaurants, and two there are tube stations, train station and bus station very close that let you get to almost anywhere central London in 20 minutes. The McMaster are lovely people that did everything to help and left lots of things at home for us to feel comfortable. It is a very good choice to visit London and the surrounding areas. The weather in August was really nice to enjoy the city. We are very pleased to have done this exchange and thank you very much to Homeexchange.com for helping us to make this happen.

What we said about Daniel's house:

We stayed at Daniel's lovely villa for 2 weeks in August, and had a wonderful relaxing holiday. The house was as described, and a lovely place to either relax by the pool or visit the surrounding area. Daniel and his family took great care of our house, and we were very impressed with how clean and tidy it was on our return. We would not hesitate to recommend exchanging with Daniel.

We had a wonderful week's exchange in Barcelona. The apartment is lovely and was a perfect base for us, as its location is within walking distance of the centre and the beach. Oriol and his family were very helpful both before and during the exchange, giving us great tips of local highlights and restaurants etc. Highly recommended!

We had a long weekend stay here and loved it! The only issue was pulling ourselves out of such a big, comfortable family home to go and see the sights!! It's a good base for going in to central London which is what we wanted to do mostly with a very short walk to the nearest tube station. Very close also to all the shops in Wimbledon and our kids loved that they could order takeaway pizza!! Sarah and her family left our house beautifully clean (not easy with 3 small kids in tow I'm thinking) and we're hoping they'll want to swap again some time. Very highly recommended!

What we said about Bronwen's house:

We spent a lovely long weekend at Bronwen's house. A beautiful and comfortable house, in a lovely part of the countryside (lots of interesting old villages nearby, and a fabulous playground for the kids in the neighbouring village). Good communication both leading up to and during the exchange. Our own house was very clean and tidy when we returned. Would highly recommend exchanging with Bronwen and her family (they even posted back to us a couple of things that we had accidentally forgotten). A very successful exchange that we would be happy to repeat!

A great exchange experience- We had a super time at Sarah and Combie's house in Wimbledon. Their house is very spacious, its a period townhouse with lots of original features and a very spacious and modern kitchen-diner. There's also a lovely back garden, with a trampoline, (which we didn't use, as we visited during winter time), but it would be ideal for families with kids in summer time. The house is well located, just 2 mins walk from South Wimbledon tube station and 5 mins. walk from Wimbledon town centre .Its very easy to travel into central London, yet there is also lots to see and do in the Wimbledon area. I can definitely recommend this lovely family as exchange partners.

What we said about Lisa's house:

Lisa and Stephen’s Dublin city centre home was a wonderful exchange experience for us. Their home is very comfortable, well kitted out and very centrally located. Lisa left us a list of local things to do and we took full advantage of all the great museums and cultural experiences nearby. Highlights for kids and for us included Glasnevin Cemetery tour, Francis Bacon Studio at Hugh Lane gallery and museum of the dead (aka Natural History Museum). When we weren’t out and about the house is super comfortable and there is a large play room for the kids to unwind and get out of the parents' hair. Dublin is a great city and Lisa’s house is a great and comfortable base. Can’t recommend highly enough both the property and Lisa and Stephen as warm and engaging people (who genuinely cared as to whether we were having a good time) to do a home exchange with.
