We have just returned from a monthlong exchange with this lovely family and must say that we were absolutely thrilled. This home is sparkling clean, roomy, and comfortable. Its owners are gracious, warmhearted people and we are delighted to have met them. They were friendly and considerate and treated our home and us with the utmost respect. Hasselt is a beautiful old town with plenty to see and do. It is also, as noted, located very conveniently for travel all over western Europe. We were able to see, in a month's time, most of Belgium and the Netherlands, with excursions to Germany and Luxembourg as well - and most of the trips were day trips in our hosts' comfortable cars. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wishes to have an experience as lovely as we had. Thank you!

What we said about Jennifer's house:

This is the ideal home exchange to visit the super busy Manhattan area and still enjoy the local community! We loved it. The house is very beautiful and has a lot of character! Very spacious, very cosy. The cars with GPS allowed us to drive into Manhattan, visit Boston (4 hours) and the Niagara falls (6 hours). Bus stop across the street! Everything we could visit was prepared in detail for us with brochures and maps. In the beginning and at the end we spent time with this very nice family! Thanks again!

Aloha to the Stockmans family, We are about to leave your modern, well equipped, wonderfully located home after almost two weeks of using it as a base to explore this part of Europe. The house is fully and comfortably furnished - it has far more room than the two of us required. The kitchen is very well equipped and the immense, forested backyard has provided hours of tranquility and relaxation. We particularly enjoyed the bicycles as this part of Belgium lends itself to bicycle outings. We also enjoyed watching a couple of films from your immense video collection on your theatre sized screen. Thanks also for the super modern vehicle - the navigation system made car trips incredibly easy. We have been delighted with every aspect of the home and the location and can recommend your home and Hasselt to any future exchangers. Best wishes, David and Susan Cleveland

What we said about David's house:

Dear Susan and David, Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to explore Oahu-Hawaii. We snorkeled, hiked, swam, bicycled, enjoyed the views, the sun and the aloha lifestyle. Your house is very, very nice, in a quiet neighborhood, and less than 5 min from the most beautiful beach on the entire Island. The toys for kids in the house were very much appreciated. Our son loved them. Having the separate guesthouse adds a lot to the privacy but also gives the beautiful mountain views. Courtney did yoga classes in Kailua, I rented windsurfing gear, we body boarded, we visited the Polynesian Cultural center, Honolulu, Hanauma (snorkeling) Bay, etc. We've been here 3 weeks, enjoyed every minute and are not yet ready to leave. Thank you! Jeroen, Courtney, Sage, from Belgium Home-id 59157. June 3, 2008

We had a great experience with this home exchange. Their house is very large, about 4500 SF with six bedrooms, master has an ensuite bath with tub and separate shower. The kitchen was well equipped, including microwave. The large well tended backyard ends in a forest which was relaxing to look at and fun for my child. Brand new auto with GPS which allowed us to drive anywhere across Europe or the grocery store without a map; I could have never driven to other cities with out it! We loved Hasselt, a smaller city that made us feel like we

What we said about Helen's house:

Hi Helen, thank you very much for exchanging with us. Your home is perfectly located for exploring Houston. We visited more things than we could have prepared: the NASA, downtown tunnels, museums, Galleria shopping, Seabrook, Galveston, etc. Your home is very spacious and in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. It was fun walking around and just looking at the houses and mansions. Convenient shopping is close by. Our son played with the million toys and cars we found in the garage. Extra thanks for arranging the airport shuttle and the maid service! Many greetings from Jeroen, Courtney and Sage (home ID 59157 from Belgium)

We were lucky to meet the friendly home owners Courtney and Jeroen and their son Sage from Hasselt, Belgium. We enjoyed our stay very much in their adorable, quiet and very comfortable house in February 2008. Our kids particularly enjoyed their lovely garden and video projector. The house is 1 hour drive from Brussels and Antwerpen and 1 hour and a half from Gent which are lovely cities as well. We had a wonderful time. Thanks again for exchanging homes with us! Elie & Virginie

What we said about Virginie's house:

We were lucky to meet the home owners Ely and Virginie and their children from Paris. We enjoyed our stay very much in their apartment in Paris in February 2008. The apartment is very cute and cozy. The apartment is approx 5km from the Louvre or downtown Paris. The metro (subway) is 200 m away and it takes you directly to the Louvre or the Opera and shopping area. We explored Paris with their bicycles and had a fantastic time! Thanks again for exchanging homes with us! Jeroen & Courtney
