We have completed over 25 exchanges and really want to go to Hawaii for Christmas.
We are Judy and Murray, enthusiastic and experienced exchangers. Murray has been retired for three years and I am a retired children's librarian. We are brand new grandparents and love it. I have recently published six children's picture books.
Three grown daughters have all fled the nest. We love to do outdoor things - walking, bike riding, kayaking and are non-smokers. We are happy to pet sit. We are also happy to exchange anywhere in Australia. If you are just a couple, you can use our studio any time and have a holiday independently of us. Hoping to Exchange to Oregon to be near our first grandchild in Corvallis.

After 25 house swaps we now know that meeting great people is what it is all about. Hotels seem sterile after a great home exchange.
A wonderful exchange in the most gorgeous home set above a wide and varied expanse of beaches, with national parks, interesting attractions and long cycle paths, made this home exhange a most enjoyable one for us. But the nicest thing about this exchange was the opportunity it gave us to meet with the owners, who were so warm, and hospitable and helpful. We had established a great rapport with them when they stayed at our place - and were the nicest possible guests - and it was great fun to spend some time with them before and after their trip. We stayed in their big house: they stayed in their design award winning self-contained studio behind the main house. We used their bikes and their car, and had a most interesting time exploring the area. This exchange suited us down to the ground, but would have been even more fabulous as an exchange if we had travelled with an extended family. We heartily recommend these lovely people and this exchange opportunity to anyone who wants a holiday in a beautiful area, handily close to, but not right in amongst the bustle of Sydney itself.
We spent one week at this lovely property. This beautifully decorated home is in a great setting. Within walking distance of a fantastic beach, it provides a very relaxing vacation. We have enjoyed over 15 swaps in the last 2 years but the couple who own this property stand out in their warmth and generosity. They have enriched our lives as well as our vacation.
These lovely people, Murray and Judy stayed in our previous apartment in Melbourne. And we look forward to having them visit us here because they are such warm and delightful people. They have a gorgeous house cleverly designed by their architect daughter in a great beach-side location. We are thrilled that their exchange experience with has been the first of many other exchanges. They are a prime example of why Home Exchange works so well.
Last year in 2006, we were lucky enough to go to this wonderful home, in the most superb location for our very first exchange. As soon as you enter you are literally blown away by the magnificent view, and then you realise that the home compliments this view in every way. There is every comfort you will need and the owners make you feel like the home is yours. They are really special people. No one could have given us a better introduction to Home Exchange. This listing has the well deserved honour of gold membership and it is very easy to see why. Everything is close by...great cafes, beach, penguins, indoor swimming pool, tourist attractions, tram, marina, bike track, shops...all just a stroll away. We had a sensational week and have recently revisited our second home in Melbourne to catch up with our exchangers and swap travel stories. We give this amazing home, owned by the warmest people, ten out of ten and hope that others get to enjoy it as much as we did.
