Gene and I and our two daughters have been coming to Duck Creek for 25 years! We just love coming here from Southern California. There is so much to do but many times we just enjoy hiking and sitting on the deck reading and basking in the beauty of nature. We enjoy the many hiking trails and the adventures that these hikes bring. The beauty of the ponderosa pines and the aspen trees are so wondrous! We are so lucky to have found this place. We now share this beautiful place with our four grandsons! They enjoy coming with us and keep so busy doing things that they only boys can do. They especially like riding in there ATV's and following the many trails that are made available through the Forestry Service. We venture to the national parks where they have become Junior Rangers and have become more aware their environment and conserving for the future through this program. Even Remi, our dog, can't wait to visit Duck Creek! He sees the bags packed and he jumps in the car to make sure he is not forgotten. Gene and I enjoy traveling to other parts of the world. Our travels have been limited over the past 5 years because we play a big roll in our grandsons lives. Now that the youngest will be starting school next September we are ready to hit the road again! Hopefully through this home exchange program we will be able to see the quaint parts of the world that we so love and that we will be able to share "a road less travelled" to those of you who wish to share it with us.
