Hej och välkommen till Sverige!
This is our family:
Peter (born -66), runs his own family business in building and heating supplies, he loves football (soccer) and other sports and snowmobile or skiing in winter.
Karin (born -68), marketing/communication consultant in tourism, loves gardening, cooking, art/crafts, photography and skiing.
Our two sons Nils and Karl (born -99 and -01) are well behaved (not only our opinion), and they also like sports.
Our common interest is traveling around the world with or without children. We travels to experience other cultures and sights, nice food, meeting new friends and to make lasting memories for us. We like to be outdoors in the nature but feels like home in big cities too. We think that changing homes on our holiday brings us closer to the local culture and we like that.
We are easy going people and our kids are well behaved. We will make everything to make your stay in our house and hometown as good as it can be, and can be at help to plan trips for you in our area. We will take good care of your home and your things as it was our own. We are experienced travelers and have done a few homeexchanges so far to Denmark, Australia and France (2 times), South Africa and every one of them has been wonderful experiences.
We like to take good care of the people staying in our house and help them to plan daytours to interesting places to visit etc.
Open to any destination, tempt us with your offer. We will try to answer all contacts. South of France, Italy, Spain (Catalonia), Australia and South Africa is always on our list. Kyoto in Japan or Costa Rica would be a dream come true!

We had the occasion to spend our Easter holidays 2008 in Lulea, in the far North of Sweden and to experience snow and cold. Our host family, Karin and Peter, were really great. They met us at the airport and offered us a Swedish barbecue across the frozen river before they left their home, a very special experience. We had also the possibility to use a snowmobile of their neighbours and friends. It was great fun to make tours starting directly from their house. As we did also a car exchange, we had the possibility to visit as far as Kiruna (Ice-hotel) and Jokkmokk (sami reindeer farm) and to reach a nearby Island driving on the frozen Baltic sea. Our holidays were among the best we had as home-exchangers and we were happy to receive the Abergs and their friends in our chalet the year after. Definitely an unforgettable experience, and we would be glad to return one day. Thanks a lot.
We did a non simultaneous home exchange with the Rufenacht family in Feb 2010. We could highly recomend this exchange to everyone! The family are very experienced homeexchangers and everything all very well arranged and the chalet well equiped for a holiday stay. We felt warmly welcome to their cosy alp chalet in the little village of Mase. And had a raclette dinner waiting for us on our first evening. We did go for skiing moslty and their chalet is close to several ski stations. We would love to go back again anytime winter or summer! Many thanks to HansPeter and Evelyn! /Karin & Peter Aaberg from north Sweden
We exchanged with the Aberg's in the far north of Sweden for an amazing winter holiday adventure in the snow. Sadly we never got a chance to meet them because they were in our home in Cape Town, but their home was so warm and welcoming when we arrived. We met their kind, friendly neighbours with whom we spent fond evenings with warm spicy wine, and we have magical memories of candles in the snow, cross country skiing and snowmobiling, Swedish cuisine, dogsledding, and a whole range of winter activities on the Arctic Circle. A lovely home and a wonderful exchange. One of our best!
This place is really a gem! We did an exhange with the Erlank family in Christmas 2008 and we are so happy they found us on HomeExchange. This spot is so perfect to explore the Cape area. Close to many attractions, very calm and only 250 m from the beautiful Nordhooek beach. We loved the house and our boys loved the pool. Everything was just perfect. Unfurtunaly we didn't have chance to meet the family i person. But our neighbours at home did and really liked them. And theirs neighbours where also very nice and helpful people. Homeexchanging with this family was a real pleasure! /Karin & Peter Aaberg, Lulea Swedish Lapland
We had a wonderful time in Swedish Lapland and this thanks to Karin and Peter's efforts to make our stay very special. Their home was perfect for us and our two kids and we enjoyed every day among the snow. The surroundings nearby were spectacular and every excursion we made was worth the trip. We really appreciated and recommend this exchange :)
We are a family from north Sweden who did a non simultaneous home exchange with the Pilioni family in July 2010 and had a very nice vacation in Sardina staying in their little holiday house. They where very helpful and the house very clean and nice decorated. Close to town and walking distance to the closest beach (even if we used a car) and the supermarkets. The beaches around the little tourist town of San Teodoro is probarbly the best of the whole mediteranean and a even if San Teodoro is quite crowded with people in peak season it's a very nice little town and a perfect spot to explore this beautiful island. Unfurtunualy we didn't have time to see so much of the island in only one week, it's quite big. Recomend going beachspotting around the island by car. We would love to go back. Many thanks to Francesco and Elisabeta! /Karin & Peter Aaberg from Sweden Home Exhchange member Nr 53635
Thanks Karin and Peter for this lovely exchange. It has been a great experience swapping home with you. You have been very friendly and helpful with us before and during the exchange. Your house is beautiful and typical swedish type, and we found it was very pleasant and comfortable with everything we needed. Lovely garden surrounded by the forest, and within 2 minutes, by walk, the border of the Lulea river, and a nice beach. We used your Kayak boat many times for fishing in the Lulea river and the lakes around your house and had a fantastic fishing experience. Your house was also a good base for traveling around the different area of the swedish lapland. Among many sites we went to, the one we particularly fell in love with was a place you recommended us call ArreNjarka Fjalby, north of Jokkmokk and the Arctic cycle. We stayed there for 2 nights. It was worth the trip. The nature is fantastic. We warrmly recommend this exchange. Isabelle and Marc, Dinard, France (Brittany). Exchange was in July 2013
Thank's Isabelle and Marc for this lovely exchange with your charming fishermens house in Dinard. We had a very nice holiday in your second home with your little lovely garden. We liked the location a lot and the town is lovely. Best beach was St Enogat. The whole town and area is very nice. We got much help from the friendly Bory family and also met one of their nice friends that guided us around. When finally home we had the chance to also meet the family and just sad that we could not have more time to chat with each other. We warmly recomend this exchange. /Karin & Peter, Sunderbyn Sweden (Lapland) Exchange was in July 2013
