The home description and photos do not do this home ...

Judy from Tucson said

The home description and photos do not do this home justice. Nine of us (4 adults and 5 teens) were comfortably accommodate, with room for privacy for all. The home is spectacular in every way. The location is exquisite with eye-popping views of the 300 year old aqueduct that characterizes this historical city. It is conveniently located and is in a high-end neighborhood close to many desirable sights. The homeowners provided us with home instructions, restaurant suggestions and graciously answered my many questions ahead of time ;-) Queretaro is conveniently located for numerous side trips including San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato. For anyone considering a visit to Mexico, but are spooked by the barrage of negative media attention: We visited Cuernavaca, Mex City, Queretaro, Hildago, San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato during a 3-wk summer '10 vacation. We always felt safe; the cities are clean; the people go out of their way to help and extend their welcome; the food is AMAZING; and there is so much to do and see!!! Our children wandered on their own, and we felt confident and safe at all times. Please do not let the media reports of Mexico keep you from considering a vacation in this beautiful country. U.S. cities have crime and violence as well, and we don't let that deter us from travel. Common sense is the name of the game. We can't wait to return to Mexico, with all it's historical significance, beautiful cities, welcoming residents and fabulous food - why travel further than to our southern neighbor??? As we returned to the States, all 5 of the kids were asking when we can return. And if you have a chance...stay in this home. You will LOVE it, and the homeowners. Best regards!
