Welcome to Amsterdam!
We are a couple from Amsterdam (age 32/33), both working in the creative industry. Hannah works as a freelance marketeer for theatres, musea and festivals. Ru works as a freelance webdeveloper and has his own startup.
We like to go to the theatre or movies, but also enjoy playing boardgames or cards at home with friends. Although we live in Amsterdam for 14 years now, we are still totally in love with the city and are happy to tell you all about our favourite spots!
We are open to all kinds of home-exchanges: we are looking for citytrips but also like the countryside and nature. We provide a lovely clean home in a great part of Amsterdam, and (needless to say) we will threat your home with care and respect.

We hope to go to Berlin later this year for a long weekend or short week.
We have stayed for a long weekend in the appartrment ( 4th floor)of Hannah and Ru. The appartment is located in Amsterdam west and nearby there is a small shopping centre and you will find several bars and restaurants.. Just around the corner you will find a bus and a tramstop so within 15 to 20 minutes you are in the centre of Amsterdam. But if you are in Amsterdam it is fun to bike.Finding a parkinglot is no problem but verry expensive. We certainly enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam and hope to come back in near future. Thanks Hannah and Ru
This was our first experience with home-exchange and we loved it. Tony is a very nice guy with a lovely spacious house in a quiet part of Tilburg. The house has everything you need for a nice stay. We especially loved the fact that he has a acces to a movie channel, good for the rainy days :-)
We spent a weekend with 4 persons in the apartment and had a great time. Trams and busses on the corner, also lots of shops nearby. From the P&R Bos en Lommer you can walk to the apartment in 5 minutes. No dishwasher but lots of cheap and cosy restaurants around the corner ( or take away), so we did not miss it at all. We had a great weekend in Amsterdam and a good place to stay with good sofa and beds.
We had a lovely weekend in Malden in Isabella's luxurious home. The house was equipped with a bath, spacious kitchen and cozy living room. There is even Netflix for rainy days. Isabella and her kids made us feel right at home. Just a couple of steps away you enter forest, perfect for long walks. If you prefer the city; Malden is quite small, but Nijmegen is not for away and a great, typical Dutch city with everything you need. The city is 2000 years old (which probably makes it the oldest city in the Netherlands), so there is a rich history there and in the surrounding country side as well. We'd definitely recommend this house!
This exchange was a very good experience. The enthusiasm of Hannah and Ru about their town is infectious and their cosy and quiet apartment is ideally situated to visit Amsterdam and neighbourhood. The treasures of the city are impressive, going in search of it by bike is a real pleasure. The local people are friendly, and neighborhood is very beautiful.Thank you Hananh and Ru for your welcome. We are recommending your adress. Joe Gilles
Hannah and I were very lucky to come across Joe & Gilles: they are the nicest people, and we had an excellent stay in Agneaux, near St. Lo. We had some good indian summer days, which was perfect for the outside terrace, overlooking a beautiful valley and the city in the distance. The location is also very interesting for the history of World War II; we visited Utah Beach, which was very close by with a car. We also loved taking tours with mountain bikes and by hiking in the beautiful nature, and coming across very nice chateaus and ruines along the way. The house itself is very spacious, with a great kitchen and a perfect stay. We fell in love with Angy, the cat! :) Hannah & Ru
