My name is Corinne and my husband is Prentiss - Though I am French and my husband originally from southern California, we have lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years and love Virginia and the convenience of being so close to the US capital city. We have one son who lives in Washington, DC and works in Arlington. We are all fluent in French and English - We are young retirees, and we now have free time to travel anywhere. We may sometimes travel with our son or/and with a friend depending on their availability.
Brochures and documentation on Arlington and Washington are available at home - Arlington is a young city and county full of things to do, a convenient city that borders the Potomac River, not far from the Chesapeake Bay (Virginia Beach, Ocean City), and close to State and National parks (Blue Ridge mountains and the Shenandoah). Area is rich in Revolutionary and Civil War history. Washington DC offers many cultural activities (Kennedy Center, etc)and so many museums all free.
