My name is Kerri and I am a set and environment designer in my mid fifties, working in film, television and events. I also lecture at several educational institutes in Sydney and have just completed a Masters Degree in design by research on creative collaborations and sustainable practice.
Bronte has been my home for 16 years. Most mornings I walk through the park to the beach and along the cliff-top pathways to either Bondi Beach or Clovelly. At certain times of the year you can see the migration of the Humpback whales and pods of dolphin. After the walk, I either go for a swim or meet friends at one of the cafes which line the waterfront. It’s a lovely start to the day. The park or Bronte Gully as it is known, is like a secret garden. To enter it, you walk down beside a waterfall, then under a canopy of trees, following a stream and suddenly it opens up and there’s the ocean.
My passion is kayaking, bushwalking and travel. On weekends, I like to kayak around different parts of Sydney Harbour, exploring the beautiful coves and beaches and stopping for coffee along the way. There are so many things to explore in this beautiful city.
I have spent a lifetime designing and creating spaces, and so my home is very much an expression of myself. I take great pride in maintaining it and enjoy sharing it with others. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and be assured that I will look after your home as if it was my own.
