We had a wonderful stay in Mt. Shasta. Mt. Shasta is beautiful with the mountain right next to this place. The home is within walking distance to the quaint town, with restaurants, movie theater, and shops. The house is very inviting and cozy among a forest of trees. We enjoyed the hottub and our boys loved the trampoline in the back year.

What we said about Julie and Charlie's house:

We had a wonderful time in Julie and Charlie's Bend home. First, Bend is a great town that has a ton to offer--wonderful outdoor actitivies right at your fingertips (skiing, boating, nice strolls along the River Trail, etc. etc), but it also is a great town with excellent food and entertainment. We loved walking and biking from their house to the River Trail and always have a great time at nearby lakes mountains. Second, the house is incredibly comfortable and allowed for a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Charlie, Julie and boys were incredibly conscientious and left our home immaculate after their visit. I would highly recommend them as great home exchangers. Amy and Curtis

The home is centrally located in Mt Shasta, but is on a quite cul-de-sac, so you feel like you are in the forest. There are lots of outdoor activities - hiking, swimming, canoeing, biking. The host family has great recommendations for what to do and we felt very pampered. They also took great care of our home. I would highly recommend this location!

What we said about Yvonne's house:

We had a wonderful, non-simultaneous trade with this second home in Bodega Bay. The house is on a nice quiet street that has a view of the Bay and is well set up for relaxing and enjoying this quaint little town. Communications with the family was always very efficient and straightforward and when they stayed in our home they treated it with utmost care. Highly recommend. Thanks!

We had a great time at your beautiful home. We especially loved the close proximity to the town, beautiful fishing spots and our visit to Ashland OR. Thanks again and we hope you had a great time at our home as well. We hope to exchange again in the future Best Regards, The Kesecker Family Windsor, CA

What we said about Tara's house:

A wonderful home in a great location! Had a great stay here in October 2011, thank you Tara and Michael! The house is very comfortable and lots of large outdoor areas for soaking in the Wine Country sun while enjoying a nice glass of local wine! Beautiful and quiet large acreage and very fun activities close by, particularly for the wine tasting types. Great hosts and look forward to more exchanges in the future. Amy

We loved Amy and Curtis's house; very spacious, serene, clean, welcoming and comfortable. The surroundings made us feel like we were in the forest, and yet we were just a few blocks from downtown Mt. Shasta. They left us with lots of personal recommendations, maps, and guides to the region. We ate at two of the restaurants they recommended, and both were excellent. We slept wonderfully each night (after a hot tub under the stars) and loved morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on their deck. We would exchange again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Amy and Curtis. What we said about Kelly and John's house:

What a wonderful place! Both this home and Ashland. If you haven't visited Ashland, you should! Kelly and John are wonderful hosts and gave us great insiders tips on where to eat, what plays to see, and great local outdoor adventures. Their house is wonderful... a beautiful outdoor deck, comfortable beds and furniture, wonderful kitchen (if you can talk yourself out of Ashland's restaurants!), and fun eclectic art throughout their home. Their home is extremely comfortable and very tidy and well kept. They are located in a great area (not walking distance to downtown), but they are in walking distance a great pasta restaurant, a great coffee shop, a movie theater, groceries and more. They are also very close to the bike path and biking to town is a breeze. They took great care of our home and were wonderful with communications in preparation for our exchange. I would highly recommend this town and this house for exchanging!
