¡¡Hola desde Argentina!!
We are a family of five, our children are 21,18 and 15 years old. We live in Buenos Aires and we run our cattle ranch in Chascomús, 2 hours away from downtown B.A. (which might also be available for exchange). We posted some photos of our ranch in our listing but please ask for more info if interested.
Our second home is in Bariloche and we go there on our summer and winter holidays, we try to take advantage of all the outdoor activities and the peaceful atmosphere of the National Park.
The house in Punta del Este is Luz´s parent´s holiday home, in case we would be exchanging this home, either Us or our sister's families could be part of the exchange.
Had an excellent time in this modern, spacious cabin in the woods. Nestled against a huge, glorious lake with the mountains in the background, this is the perfect combination of seclusion and convenience. All the necessities of a home, plus a fireplace, caretakers right up the road, and access to the highway very close by to take you into town in 10 minutes. A wonderful setting. Bariloche is rugged and beautiful. But beware of the myriad of dirt roads. Getting around (off the beaten path) takes time and planning. Also be prepared to dine well if you love beef, and fine wine, and chocolate! Our exchange family was wonderful and we'd do it again! We were there around Christmas time (summer there) and would highly recommend it.
Our stay in Miami Beach was great. The house location is so convenient, close to the beach and all the fun of Miami Beach, and yet in such a quiet neighborhood. We loved having the bicycles at the house, we could ride them to the beach and all along the coast to Ocean Drive, it was so much fun. The house was very comfortable, clean and well equipped, and all the information our hosts left for us was very helpful. We had a wonderful time, they really made us feel at home!!
Our stay at " Martin Pescador" was really special! We were there for a week, just after Xmas 2007 and we had a lot of fun with our 3 kids. The house is, in fact, beautifully decorated, cozy and very charming, with a privileged location! It faces the blue Lake Gutierrez, it is very silent, surrounded by nature and you cannot see any building from where it is settled. On the other hand, the house is only 10 minutes drive from Bariloche city center or a few minutes from the best restaurants in the area. During the whole process of planning the trip to Patagonia, our "landlords" were very attentive and supportive, giving us precious hints and answering our questions. So, if you are considering going to Bariloche, we highly recommend you to stay at "Martin Pescador"!
We spend our Easter holidays in this charming beach house steps from a lovely and quiet beach. The house is comfortable, beautifully decorated, very well equipped and surrounded by exuberant tropical vegetation. The staff at the condo were very helpful, we enjoyed the swimming pool and the tennis court and also having the chairs and umbrella at the beach. We made a lovely boat trip to Ilhabella, went snorkeling and were followed by dolphins...and could even see sea turtles swimming in the sea from the rocks at the beach. Our exchange partners were great, they really made us feel at home, they will be coming to our place on Christmas 07. A great place for surfers and families: quiet, safe and beautiful. A tropical paradise.
I've recently returned from a wonderful exchange at this hillside cabin in Patagonia. The view from the home is so beautiful that it's now the screen saver on my phone. The home is a spacious 3 bedroom, 3 full bath delight. Very comfortable and charming. The gracious caretakers of the home, Roberto and Mirta, are at your service (literally, there's a hotline!) for whatever you may need. We were absolutely thrilled with our stay and highly recommend Luz and her home to anyone wishing to immerse themselves in the majesty of the Andes. LeVal
We spent a week at LeVal's place in Miami Beach and had a wonderful time. The apartment is conveniently located in a quiet area of Miami Beach but minutes away from all the fun there. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and has lovely open views. It is a great choice for a family or two couples. It was very easy to arrange the exchange with LeVal, and everything worked smoothly. He and some friends spent a week in our cabin in Patagonia, and we can highly recommend him as a guest.
bonjour Luz and martin, we keep a marvelous memory of our stay in lago Guttieres; it was a dream for me to live in a house near a lake! The spot is exceptionnal with the wiew on the lake and the mountains. And what saying about the trouts of the lake;they give us a great pleasur to catch and release them .(we eat some) Dont' never sale this house or phone me before! Very happy to meet you in Buenos Aires and we wait you in summer in France with great pleasur. Gerard and all is friends
Two weeks in this faraway paradise, who could ask for more? Moorea is an enchanting place, we were there end of July- beginning of August and had such a great time. The house was spotless, comfortable, and easy to live in. We enjoyed the sunset on the sea from "our" garden, or going kayaking or snorkeling right from the back yard. The "fare" (as the Tahitians call it) was such a charming place to spend the evenings, and most of all, Francoise and Paul were so nice and helpful, they made this exchange such a special one.
We had a fantastic time at "Martin Pescador". The cottage is amazing, the view from the master bedroom is unique, I would say, in the world... we sat minutes in silence in front of that "screen" to watch lake Gutierrez and the peaks of Cerro Catedral right in front of us. The house itself is very comfortable and lovely, spacious and perfect for our family of 6. The grounds around it are full of flowers and there is a dock on the lake that is really cute! The jacuzzi with view was a luxury, and we didn't miss the chance to take advantage of it. During the week we stayed in Bariloche, and following Luz advice, we did many amazing trips on the Cerro Tronador, at Refugio Frey, at El Bolson... we really had a great stay. The neighbors Cecilia (and brother Carlo) were very helpful when we needed advice or help. We highly recommend this exchange for the fascination of this part of Patagonia, for the amazing position of this exquisite cottage and for the warmth and great care of Luz and her family!
