A great big "hello!" From Newfoundland.
Pat is a civilian employee of the RCMP and Terri is a teacher. Pat is a hands-on person who enjoys puttering about in his carpentry workshop. Terri enjoys traditional hand crafts and bird watching as much as she enjoys tinkering with digital devices. If agreed by all, our adult children occasionally join us for a family weekend during our travels and home exchanges.
We are active 50-somethings who enjoy walking/ hiking, canoeing, nordic skiing, geocaching, and traveling. We live the philosophy that, while growing older may be a necessary goal, growing up is optional. Come play in our backyard, the west coast of Newfoundland!
July 4 — August 27, 2016 These dates are flexible
A simultaneous exchange of approximately three weeks duration is preferred.
We enjoy outdoors, especially canoeing, hiking, and bird watching.
We had a great time exploring Terry & Pat's stomping grounds of western Newfoundland. Lots of fun thing to do in the area and great fish to be found. We were also fortunate to spend some time getting to know Terry & Pat and enjoying the hospitality so typical of Islanders. Thanks again to both of you for a great time. Deborah & Gene
We had a wonderful visit with Deborah and Gene! They are very experienced travellers, and delightful exchangers.
