We had an amazing trip to Topsail Beach. We have been on many exchanges, but this house certainly has to be at the top of the list. Erin and her family were wonderful to work with during the exchange, and they also left our house exactly as we had left it! The Topsail House was super cozy for our whole family. We really loved being able to cook and chat in the open kitchen area, as well as spend time on the different decks. The house is well-equipped with anything you could want for a perfect beach vacation. They have beach chairs, beach toys for the kids, and even a couple of beach cruisers (bikes) that we could take for rides around the neighborhood. Their neighborhood has everything you could ask for, including a nice coffee shop and excellent restaurants. The beach is wonderful, and the pier is only a few blocks up the beach. Some of the things we did during our stay: boogey boarding, fishing off the pier, roller-skating, putt-putting, and even a tour boat with a real live Pirate attack! It was a truly wonderful exchange, and we wouldn't hesitate doing another exchange with Erin and her family at any point.

What we said about Conrad's house:

Our trip to DC was our first exchange experience and Conrad and Rachel made it so easy! We traveled with my parents and three young children and were very comfortable in their home. At the end of a long day of sight seeing it was so wonderful to relax and regroup in their lovely home. They did an excellent job of explaining how everything worked and left little notes around the house to help us learn the lay of the land. While we were in DC we ate at several good restaurants several blocks from the house on H St. This trip made me wish I could live in DC! The house was a great home base for us as we visited monuments and museums. We would definitely exchange with Conrad and Rachel again.

Wonderful home and an amazing location for enjoying the beach. Our hosts were terrific, kind and thoughtful. The home was gorgeous, easy and bright. We can't say enough great things---you would be so fortunate to stay here. A true oasis! We have been to so many beaches, but Topsail Island is truly special. We can't wait to go back to visit there again on holiday.

What we said about Gabrielle and Greg's house:

My entire family, husband, 3 daughters and parents made Wallingford our home base for a week visiting Philly and surrounding areas. Gabrielle and her family made the exchange very easy and bent over backwards to accommodate my large crew, helping us deal with allergy issues, etc. The neighborhood is so pretty and great for walking and running. The train is literally a short walk through the backyard, which by the way is so large and amazing. Trains to center city run frequently and make Philly visits simple. We also drove to center city which was no problem. The house location is also great for exploring other parts of the area, we did easy day trips to Amish Country. There is so much to do in the area, so many things we wanted to do but ran out of time. The house itself is interesting and the library was a fun place for us to hang out. Many thanks to Gabrielle for an easy, fun exchange.

Our visit to Topsail Island was amazing! We loved the house (great view of the sound, quick walk to the beach, great porches, decorated well, comfortable spaces, lots of kids toys/ beach bikes, etc.) and our hosts were wonderful! We loved biking around the island and going to the putt-putt/ local restaurant/ roller skating. The surf was great at the beach - lots of waves but not too powerful that knocks down kids. We didn't have the best weather but we still had a lot to do and even enjoyed hanging around the house in the rain.
