We had a great exchange with Nick & Mae, and enjoyed every aspect of their lovely Asheville home. Their home is in a quiet and safe mountain neighborhood that is a very short drive to both the Biltmore Village area and downtown Asheville. Their modern style and traditional design made for a comfortable and stylish home. Our children (ages 3 and 7) enjoyed their toys and watching movies projected on their wall. Asheville was a great summer retreat for us - cool weather and lots of child-friendly things to do. Their recommendation of Pack's Tavern and the Pack's Square splash pad made for a really nice night out with the family. Nick and Mae were great to interact with as we planned the exchange, and left both their home and ours spotless. We would look forward to exchanging with them again in the future!

What we said about Nicole's house:

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this lovely Orlando home. Jesse and Nicole, who are more experienced home swappers than we are, helped make the entire process run smoothly from start to finish. Their home is clean, spacious, comfortable and perfect for families with children. Like their home, their Baldwin Park neighborhood is gorgeous. We loved biking to the coffee shop in the morning and walking downtown for dinner at night. We liked the convenience of being able to walk or bike to the gym, pools, grocery store and parks. This house and community was all we needed for a relaxing vacation, but alas, our 5-year-old wanted to see the orcas. Thus, we turned to the detailed information on area attractions Nicole provided in the house manual. We found her suggestions very useful in narrowing down the infinite choices for things to do in Orlando. After we had our fill theme parks, white-sand beaches and downtown shopping, we left Orlando with wonderful memories of our Florida family vacation. We returned home to find our house in perfect shape. I would give Nicole and Jesse our highest recommendation for a home exchange, and I hope to swap with them again in the future.

Nick and Mae, Thanks taking a chance on us. This was a fabulous introduction to home exchanging for us. Your place is just as great as described. Using the apartment for the grandparents worked fantastically. We found the location very convenient and the neighborhood so enjoyable to go for walks in. Our kids still talk about the array of Legos that got to play with. Sometimes they didn't want to leave the house because they were having so much fun. Asheville was every bit as interesting as the travel books make it sound. There were so many great family activities for our mixed generation group. Highlights for us were the Trolley Tour, the Spashville fountain, WNC Nature Center, cocktails on the terrace at the Grove Hotel and swimming at Hooker Falls and of course driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We look forward to returning the exchange when you can come to Reno. Thanks again, Jeff and Darcy
