Granada, tierra soñada =)
We are Reme and Alex. We both work at the Universidad de Granada. Alex is an Ecology researcher and I am archaeologist and historian. In our team there's also Andrea and Paola (2011) and Gabriel (2012). We have several mountain bikes and we enjoy sport, nature and culture. We all love doing activities in nature and visiting historical and cultural sites.
We loved this house and the City of Granada. The City is beautiful and there is so much to see and do in the area. The house was very comfortable and the communal pool was really great, and created a really good community spirit which allowed us to meet some of the neighbours, even though our spanish is non-existent! We met Reme, Alex and their family who were charming and very respectful of our house. We very much enjoyed the experience.
We had a wonderful time in Datchet. The house provided everything we needed, and the children had loads of fun in the garden jumping on the trampolin and playing in the children's house. Nicola, James and Kristin were very kind and supportive even beyond the scheudled exchange. We are very happy about the experience of the exchange itself, and also about having met such a great family.
If you want discover Granada, Reme's home is the best place for you! It's spacious, fresh and quiet, with a wonderful wiew on the city. Everything is very close: you can reach, walking, the Albazyn in ten minutes. In the swimming pool you can relax and meet new and kind people. Reme and her family were perfect guest and very respectful to my home.
We stayed for two weeks in Giuliana's flat in Cadoneghe. The apartment offered all we needed for all 7 of us, including a nice little garden and a children's playground next door (and a great espresso machine!). Giuliana & co. left us a lot of information on things to do in and around Padova, which was very helpful, and they were very regardful in our house.
