We're a family of four (Lena, Heiko), our kids are 10 (Luan) and 5 (Oona Lucy), and we have two cats, who prefer to stay at home;-) They are quite handsom, used to visitors and no threat til noone. They can go in and out as often as they want, so you don't have to watch a door or window. We have to rabbits as well which live in the garden.
If you'd like to spend a few days of your holidays in other places in Norway, do we usually have quite helpful neighbours to feed them.
After university, different kinds of work and becoming parents in Germany, we decided to move to Norway. Lena works as a conference leader at a Oslo hotel, Heiko is a kindergarden teacher in a smalltown nearby.
July 1 — August 9, 2015 These dates are flexible
Looking for a nice place to spend our summer holidays 2015. We prefer something family-friendly near the water (the beach or a nice lake). :-D
March 26 — April 6, 2015
We'd like to spend some days in Copenhagen on our way in the beginning of our easter holidays. Maybe it's possible to offer our house until the 06.apr. even if we just want to stay two or three days in Copenhagen.
The best thing for us to do on holiday is to spent a day on the beach, do a niche walk the next day and so go shopping and visit a museum and then we drive to a nice village to spend some ours there before we return to the beach or maybe a bicycle tour, or we stay at home in the garden and do some barbecue before we visit an amusement park. I think the thing we like best is to do different things! On the picture you see the end a moon eclipse, becuase sometimes I like to take pictures.
We had great holidays in Norway in Heiko and Lena home. The house is cosy with lots of toys for children Their house is located in a quite neighborhood close to the beautiful nature that Norway has to offer. The family is friendly. They meet us at the airport when we arrived in oslo airport and we had a nice diner together when we come back home in Landerneau. We also had a warming welcome by the neighbourhood in Oppegard. We enjoyed kayaking with them on the wonderful fjord and pick wild raspberries in the wood just outside the house. Oslo is not far away by car (we exchange car, it works perfect), it’s a quiet and beautiful city and a perfect place to start exploring Norway : changing landscape, great fjord and lovely island to explore by ferry, modern architecture in the Capital, and very friendly norwegian people. The coastline is beautiful, summer 2014 was very sunny and we enjoyed jumping each day in the fjord water. Lena and Heiko are arranging people, the communication by mail or phone was easy and they take care of our home carefully .
It was great in Landerneau! Isabelles and Thangs have a spacious, modern child-friendly house with a nice garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Landerneau is a beautiful small town and there's really plenty to do in the area nearby, beaches, nice sceneries, spectacular coastlines, museums, old villages, churches and castles,... We had lot of things to do! There are many things for kids in the house that we could use, as bicycles, skateboard, games, beach stuff,... And last but not least are the Phams extraordinary friendly and funny people!
We had a very good contact with Heiko and Lena. They are very nice and funny people and they did everything to help us to get around in Norway. They have a lovely nostalgic Norwegian house in a very nice neighbourhood in Oppegard. There's a beautiful (cold!) lake nearby where you can swim. Norway is beautiful and Oslo is a great city. You have to see Vigeland park! We also exchanged cars which was perfect.
We did a perfect exchange in the Netherlands this year. The Winters have a beautiful and cosy house near the center of Enkhuizen, which was beyond all our expectations. The communication was was funny and they are really, really very nice people, who took good care of our home! Everything in Enkhuizen is in a walking distance and even there are some tourists does it feel like you are living there for real when you enter the house. Of course are there many things to do, both in a walking, in a bicycle and in a driving distance. We recommend this place with all of our hearts!
