- Lib Retired (65)
- Anthea Office manager/social worker (61)
Hi, we love travelling, particularly to Europe, but we will consider anywhere. We are happy to conisider all types of exchanges including hospitality (we have a big house with plenty of room for guests)
Libero (Lib) and Anthea are in their early 60's. Lib has retired and Anthea is still working full time but likes to take at least 8 - 12 weeks holidays every year so we can travel. We are both social workers and have worked in a variety of settings over the years. We have 4 adult children (they have all left home) and 5 grandchildren.
Lib was born in Italy. He came to Australia with his parents when he was 3 year old. Anthea is about 5 generations Australian with ancestors from England and Scotland. Lib speaks fluent Italian, some French and a little Spanish.
We did our first exchange with a French family of 5 from Paris in 2010 for 6 weeks and we loved staying in a home instead of a hotel. In 2012 we did 2 exchanges to England and an exchange to Hungary and again, we thoroughly enjoyed these experiences. In 2013 we exchanged with people from Spain, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, again we had wonderful experiences. We are keen to do further exchanges to see more of Europe or elsewhere.
Exchanges can be non-simulanteous. We can leave our house for you and stay with friends or family or we can take our caravan for a trip in Western Australia. We are also happy to consider hospitality arrangements.
May 1 — September 1, 2015
We are interested to travel again to Europe for 3 months in 2015 for about 3 months from May to September
