Hello from North Carolina!
We are retired and are healthy and active (bikes, kayaks, hiking, yoga, non-smoking, vegetarian). We're learning guitar and Spanish. My wife quilts and does other crafts. We both enjoy the garden. We volunteer at a nearby community garden. We're neat and clean and we'll take good care of your home.
Our home is filled with stained glass and other arts and crafts (our own and collected on our travels). Our neighborhood is filled with porches, yards, sidewalks and parks. We have a gourmet kitchen that reflects our love of cooking.
We would like to visit the USVI (winter), Hawaii (winter), Denver (summer), Santorini (spring/autumn) or DC (any time). We are interested in visiting London or southern or central France between April and October of 2016 (one to four weeks). We sometimes travel with another couple or our (grown) children. Let's swap homes!

May 15 — September 15, 2016 These dates are flexible
We're looking for a home base to explore the UK and we could swap for a week or up to two months. In or near London would work the best, but anywhere we have access to public transportation is good.
December 15 — March 15, 2016
1 week to 1 month. We would prefer to be in or near a town.
April 1 — October 29, 2016
We're looking for a home base for exploring mid to southern France in 2016. From one to three weeks. Our home is in a great location for exploring this part of the USA, since we're so centrally located. Tons of outdoor opportunities, too. Take our kayaks out, ride our bikes. You'll love it.
April 15 — October 15, 2016
May, June, Sept or early October 2016
June 1 — September 1, 2016
We love to cook, and our modern gourmet kitchen shows it! From a 5 burner gas oven and modern double door refrigerator to all the tools and gadgets you'll need to fix fabulous meals. Our kitchen is FUN to cook in.
We really enjoyed our weekend exchange at Bill and Sherry's house. Their bungalow is very warm and inviting, making you want to curl up with a book in the living room. They have a great screened in porch in the back overlooking the garden, perfect for a morning latte, which they left great instructions on how to make with their espresso machine, or an evening glass of wine after you've toured Old Salem or Reynolda house and gardens. All the attractions are just a short drive away and Winston-Salem is easy to navigate. Thanks, Bill and Sherry!
