Nature's Playground

We love spending active time outdoors. We are so fortunate that we stumbled upon this paradise where we can go trail running, hiking, biking, climbing, and skiing in the mountains then turn around and walk or bike to a great restaurant or theater. Now that we have kids, we spend a considerable amount of time looking at bugs and flowers and making fairy houses.

We visited Boulder in the summer, and Huybert's garden was in full bloom. The house and yard were gorgeous, and the chickens were an extra treat. Everything was neat and tidy, and specific instructions were left for everything. The house is located right downtown. We walked everywhere, got lots of exercise, and ate as much as possible at the delicious restaurants on Pearl Street! It was our anniversary and the 4th of July, and we were able to watch the fireworks from the third-floor balcony on the roof of Huybert's house. It was romance at it's best. :) If you are looking for a quaint, cute house central to Pearl Street and the downtown area, look no farther. This lovely home will suit all your needs! What we said about Daniela's house:

We exchange our home with Daniela and Strider and it was a great success! We loved staying in their beautiful home and enjoyed exploring this very nice and scenic part of New Mexico. Angel Fire is a nice town with many outdoor posibilities (hiking, mountain biking, trail running, paddle boating, skiing among others). Also visited Taos and Ojo Caliente Hot Springs, both worthwhile excursions. Thank you!!!

We stayed in the Groenendaal's beautiful home in Boulder, CO in May 2012 for our daughter's college graduation. The location was incredible - we walked to her graduation ceremony at the University, strolled downtown for dinner & shopping, and were able to quickly hop on the bike path for a ride through Boulder. The house was perfect for a family, it was clean, well-equipped and a great place to return to at the end of the day. Watched an incredible lightning storm over the Flatirons from their rooftop deck. A great time was had by all, we would absolutely stay here again.

We had a fantastic exchange with Huybert and Rebecca over the winter holidays. Their home could not be more perfectly located in the heart of Boulder, a block away from Pearl Street cafes and shops. We loved their gorgeous house - so bright and comfortable with everything we could possibly need. We could not say enough about Huybert and Rebecca and their hospitality. It was a truly fantastic and memorable stay!

We loved staying at Rebecca and Huybert's wonderful home in downtown Boulder. They were great to work with, and we enjoyed meeting them and their two lovely daughters at our home at the end of the trip. Their home is very comfortable - and warm, even at -10 degrees outside. The location one block from the pedestrian mall on Pearl St. could not be better. So convenient to restaurants, shops, hiking trails, and the heart of Boulder. They were so accommodating and helpful in making our stay as easy as possible. We give them an A+ and highly recommend doing an exchange with them.
