- Ian Teacher (58)
- Sheila Teacher (59)
Greetings from sunny Kuala Lumpur, the gateway to Asia.
Sheila and I (Ian) are both teachers. We have two sons. Our 26 year old lives in Sydney and our 22 year old is at University in Brisbane.
We have travelled extensively all over the world. We are using our time here in KL to explore Asia some more.
We have one young cat and have left our dog and a horse back in Australia with good friends.
December 18 — January 10, 2015
We are teachers so are restricted to school holidays (Australian). These are essentially 2 weeks at Easter, 3 weeks in June/July, 2 weeks in September and 6 weeks over December/January. Would love a week or two in Thailand this Christmas Break

We are from the Northern Rivers and love to come back for visits. We would love a week or two over the Christmas/New Year break.
We had a great home-exchange with Ian and Sheila in their house at Gita Bayu. Ian and Sheila are very nice and friendly people. We had dinner together at our last evening in KL. So nice to see eachother pictures and hear eachother stories! They took care of our cats in the Netherlands and our cats loved them! Gita Bayu is a beatiful place, with great people who are always willing to tell you were to go in KL and a very safe place because of the security in Gita Bayu. The pool is in a real dreamgarden and we enjoyed spending a lot of hours there. The restaurant near the pool is wonderful with lovely Malesian and Western food. Don't miss the fresh fruit juices! The airco appartment of Ian and Sheila is a nice place with al the convenience of a Malesian house. We had an amazing home-exchange for two weks in beautiful Maleisia. After the exchange, we traveled for two weeks through Maleisia. It is a beautiful country!
A beautiful house with a very relaxing garden. Lots of cycling, coffee shops and things to see. A lovely family who went out of their way to ensure that our exchange was a success
