Cheers from the Sunshine State of Arizona, USA!
We retired in 2001 to Tucson, AZ and love the beautiful desert and easy living. We have a second home on the Sea of Cortez in Mexico where we get our water fix. Much of our travel involves seeing our large family of 8 grown children, 16 grandchildren and one lovely great granddaughter. We love to explore and prefer to "immerse" ourselves in an area versus just a quick look. We are fascinated by the many cultures in our world!
We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the very nice home of Dot and John. We are convinced that their setting is Arizona at its finest and their community is beautiful in all respects. The neighbors are very friendly and make you feel at home immediately. Although we don't golf their place is ideal for those that do and the course is perfectly manicured. The gym and swimming facilities are very convenient and very nice. The Tucson area offers a huge number of attractions all within a 50 mile radius and visitors cannot possible run out of things to do and see. The sun sets and rises are wonders to experience. If you are an early riser go to the café in the clubhouse and get a free coffee and set out on the patio and watch the sunrise over the golf course and the city in the distance. We found October to be a perfect time for a visit to Tucson and Spring would also be excellent as well as their winters. We have had over 15 exchanges and this ranks very very high with us. We would be charmed to relate more of our nice visit to any who would like to contact us. Dot and John thank you for having us. Lee and Barbara
